Been a big critic of his but he was decent last week.

For me his biggest negative is his movement off the ball, he doesnt seem to know where to go to get himself in the best position to score a goal and regularly runs into a shit position.

However in a 2 up top I think he would offer alot more and probably score more. For this though we would need a rock solid 4 in the middle of the park and at the moment we don't.

Type of player who grafts, but can't see much else in him. But, that said, when he isn't playing we seem to miss him. Reminds me of when we had Nolan. God knows what he does but he does it well.

Accepting that he's not the finished article, he can be taught to head on goal, surely.

i like him. think we've been a lot better with him than without this season.

he was just a panic buy just like sordell to keep the fans happy during the transfer window

you really think they'd spend 4million to try to shut you up?

i think we've already decided that his movement is way better than your understanding of his role

It's a possiblitiy that our "main" striker could go all season without scoring at home..

well today is your answer, he is fuckin shit and giving away that needless freekick for their goal he wants fining a weeks wages

I can't argue with you..

Hard to judge him fairly in such a poor team but something isn't right about one up front who scores so seldom.

I'm an n'gog fan but he was piss poor today

Maybe he should start putting glue on his boots so he can control the ball better.

Agree. And he's also thick as fcuk. Some of the fouls he makes are the most stupid decisions I've ever seen.

todays foul wasn't the brightest thing i've ever seen, but if he hadn't fouled their player, he'd still be running through us

i'm more concerned where our midfield where

and while we're on the free kick, at the moment - without having seen a replay - bogdan wants his bollocks kicking

Glad someones picked up on the mifield rather than blame the usual.

Bodan, I slated his positioning away at Everton for a free kick righ at the end, but got lambasted as it hit the bar and bogdan supposedly had it covered.

He had todays covered as well.

fucking shocking

Ngog committed a needless foul in their half, then switched off, then committed a foul trying to make amends.

The midfield was shit today, but it was Ngog not doing his job properly that cost us the first goal.

Stupid foul, but give Dempsey some credit, that was some free kick.

Don't doubt the quality

but if hes half a foot more to his left he gets much better contact as he doesnt have to play superman

It wouldn't have got past Jussi

still hes young (for a goalkeeper) im sure he will learn

My first thought today after the free kick was that Bogdan shouldve done better

I reserve the right to change my mind if I see it on tv though

Our midfield were diabolical today, which worries me.

If NRC has a bad day they all fold,

And Mavies has two really poor games on a run

Question, do we practise set plays, as the only imaginative set play I saw today was Petrov to Ryo, across the box , to the back post

Everything else was crass !

If he's a foot to the left, he's covering the side that is 'the walls'. And if he had done that, and then been beaten on that side, quite rightly there would have been abuse at him.

It was as central as makes any odds.

That bit of skill to get through on goal before Riise got back to intercept him, did anyone have any confidence in him in that position, he's a poor finisher and can be really clumsy, does good things, but playing 4-5-1 with him up top means we are relying on our mids and defenders to score.

Agreed his final touch is piss poor & lightweight. We cant expect to grind out results with a striker with no eye for goal and wont challange for headers.

Will we have actually paid 4M+ for a guy who aint scored at the reebok all season.

If he plays at Newcastle Monday it will be his final chance for me.

I'd love know what type of striker some people expect bwfc to have up top
