May 17, 201214 yr Read in various places that our new kit is to be adidas... No Balls, can you confirm or deny? I bloody hope it is, so much better than Reebok...
May 21, 201214 yr Just had a go at an away. Looks great, wouldn't mind that as an away one. Seriously Dids stop playing Pokemon and think about a career in design. As others have said you have an eye for it. Edited May 21, 201214 yr by DIPS
May 21, 201214 yr Nine pages on what kit looks"Nice"? I must be missing something does it matter that much?
May 21, 201214 yr think about a career in design. As others have said you have an eye for it. its no more design than it is colouring in
May 21, 201214 yr its no more design than it is colouring in Not to piss on diddles chips too much but it does strike me he's just putting bolton colours on templates folk have already knocked up.
May 21, 201214 yr I'm genuinely in the 'not arsed' camp when it comes to our kits. I only buy them when they're reduced to ?9.99 so I can wear them to play 5-a-side. Having said that, I was particularly offended by this horror (and it's yellow equivalent). Some fucker must've designed this, sat back and been proud of it. I'd sack that fucker ... and anyone else who signed it off. As said many times above, Diddles can do a lot better.
May 21, 201214 yr It was better in the pre-internet days when children designed football kits used felt tips & paper dad liberated from the office and didn't inflict them on the whole world.
May 21, 201214 yr its no more design than it is colouring in Not to piss on diddles chips too much but it does strike me he's just putting bolton colours on templates folk have already knocked up. I'm pretty sure the last time this was discussed on here; and it gets discussed a lot; NB did say something about sourcing material types for the kit as well as colouring in was fairly important too. If you had a breathable material under the arms and it coloured differently than the rest it'd look shit. Similarly, if one material shrunk/stretched at a different rate than the other, your shirts fucked first wash. Have I got the gist here NB? Colouring in is only a small part. Diddles could become NB's lacky though.
May 21, 201214 yr But surely whilst you have your sorts who make sure the fabrics are all tickety-boo you can't underestimate the importance of the colourer innerers. No point having an item of clothing that will last for a hundred years and never go out of shape if no-one's going to want to be seen wearing it in the first place. May 21, 201214 yr I'm still amazed that a grown man, is actually colouring in football kit templates and posting them on an internet forum. Fuck me, have you got nothing better to do with your life?
May 21, 201214 yr I've started from just a plain template and added the touches, obviously I have had to look at adidas designs to get an understanding, it's not that hard to add the stripes, textures and gradient look once you get used to PS. Oh and be quiet CWP. If I can come up with or find what I need, I could do loads of different brands, remember that BWFC wallpaper I made, I can make others, gonna make an England one. Again, this is just casual, not interested in a career, before soemone says . Edited May 21, 201214 yr by Didledee
May 21, 201214 yr Just been reading through Gartside's tweets. Someone has asked him if the shirt below is the new shirt and Gartside has replied "looks familiar"
May 21, 201214 yr Just been reading through Gartside's tweets. Someone has asked him if the shirt below is the new shirt and Gartside has replied "looks familiar" If it is that one we're getting out of date adidas templates. If it is that colour scheme it'll be more like this fella. http://www.mlsgear.com/28712.html That will have pretty much the full range of adidas templates on it so pick one make it white with blue and red trim and you'll have our adidas kit, we wont be getting a bespoke design especially now we're in the champo Edited May 21, 201214 yr by frank_spencer
May 21, 201214 yr I am the only one who'll be glad when they release it? Or will there be a week of "it looks shit" after that?
May 21, 201214 yr will there be a week of "it looks shit" after that? Without a doubt. I do wonder why people are that arsed what it looks like

It's piss easy you know.
May 21, 201214 yr you did it for long enough Did? Haven't you got some chairs to move with a man and a van?
May 21, 201214 yr i thought they'd got you in as cleaner it can't be owt on your cv - i saw that mustard number
May 21, 201214 yr i thought they'd got you in as cleaner it can't be owt on your cv - i saw that mustard number Ha Ha! I do have a story about the yellow kit, but it's not for on here.
May 21, 201214 yr woah, it didn't work in white, either not that it actually was white That's another story.
