Vague memories of reading it in the BEN and laughing it was PH (rip) from off Willows Lane who did the runner. i think the fare was £600 or something daft like that. the police arrested him a few days later and he was taken up back up to Perth to face the charge. got a whopping fine and had to pay compensation to the cab driver. he'd actually been arrested at the game and his pic was on file,hence the local gendarmes showed the mugshots of Bolton fans arested,and he was promptly collared. good lad though,shame to die so young
