Coyle out, not using enough TCP

I think we can rule out the proposed October return.

What the hell is wrong?

'twas merely a flesh wound!

What a ridiculous article ffs

I have absolutely no idea if anything has changed and if it has wether its brilliant, good, average, bad or terrible news

it says nobody knows anything

he's had a further minor op a few weeks back and has a return to the specialist in a few weeks - this will hopefully confirm the success of the op

if that goes well, he'll be given a programme to begin on his way to fitness (we hope)

if its not gone well, then owens got an early excuse as to why we haven't been promoted come may

I think most of us had already written him off until around Christmas time anyway hadn't we, as we know he's not been training. I'm still wondering if we'll ever actually see him again, this does seem to have dragged on somewhat

Its ok, because Davies' challenge on cleverly was equally as bad

Exactly what I expected, in a few weeks he will hopefully step training up - 3/4 weeks solid training makes him back in Nov/Dec.

Just hope we are in contention when he gets back

Sounds about right to me. Wouldn't be surprised if he's kicking a ball in October. Obviously not going to be for first team, but I'd rather half a season than none at all.

Nice touch sending him his shirts home though

based on what?

Sorry my opinion, don't you think it's a bloody long time out for an injury?

If it was one injury then yeah, but this chap has had unfortunate injury after injury, but its not a dicky knee (technical term) or the same reoccurring injury, they are bad tackle injuries, for a regular person they wouldn't be walking correctly now, but for an athlete to be running and twisting on it on a daily basis I'd say he is up to where certainly i expected him to be.

He'll be training by November.

Surgery and rehab has moved on a lot since the days when Paul Lake was playing. JSL.

Hope you guys are right but for me something isn't right

we can all spout about his 'injury' all day...

but anyone ITK knows the truth.

I've heard it's his knee.

ITK.

knee arthroscopy is straight forward. it can be done under a general anesthetic. pretty common after knee reconstructions, which ultimately i think he may have had.

A fucked knee is still a fucked knee, though.
