September 30, 201213 yr Got a train ticket last night for £37 return, only problem early start from Piccadilly, 6.55 am. Not really a problem that. More drinking time!
October 2, 201213 yr Can you guys not get pissed at home or somewhere else, empty stadiums could go a long way, they really don't deserve your great support.
October 2, 201213 yr Again after tonight it's all about the pissup. Same for me, going seeing a mate down there, I just hope Coyle's gone by then so I can look forward to going to the game as well as the weekend in the big smoke.

October 2, 201213 yr Did's, has your Mum ever let you go to an away match. Just asking like. Not been to an away for ages, used go a few with my dad each season, I'd not go even if she offered to pay and protect me from all the hoolies .

October 3, 201213 yr Can you guys not get pissed at home or somewhere else, empty stadiums could go a long way, they really don't deserve your great support. This is where we're different Dids. From an early teens me and a group of lads have been following the Whites up and down the country. At first it was for the football only, but then it changed to all about being a massive day out for us. No matter where we went. Could even be Blackburn for all we care. Nothing beats going to someone else's town, taking over their pub (not so much now, due to plod) and having a drink or two with your best friends. No wives or girlfriends and kids etc Infact football is one of the only things that keeps us all together in meeting up it's fair to say as we get older. We forget all about the working week, mortgages, other problems. The game is now secondary. I couldn't imagine on a Saturday now not going away. To me spending it indoors watching it on a shitty foreign stream with Chinese commentary is a slow torture. Sure you save the money, and the effort in going away, but you can't replicate that in anyway if you're with your mates. We know we're shite and going to get beat. But that doesn't even matter any more.
October 3, 201213 yr To never have tasted an away day is to have never lived. Still, each to their own I suppose.
October 3, 201213 yr my ticket arrived this morning. Was hoping this would be the first game for the new gaffer. It appears my hopes have been dashed
October 3, 201213 yr After conceding their 5th penalty in consecutive games, Bolton boss Owen Coyle bemoaned his sides early season run of bad luck after their 1-0 defeat at Millwall which saw his side slip into the bottom 4. "I thought this was a fantastic performance from us and we simply are not getting the results our performances deserve. Whilst accepting that Millwall is a very difficult place to come and they are a very good side, i thought we played very well and created numerous good chances. On a different day we would have won this game comfortably. That said we were perhaps a little slow starting the second half although the penatly was again debatable. It was the same too with the previous 4 penatlies that were given against us and i am in the process of sending a DVD to the Football League regarding this. We are surely due a turn of luck shortly and i am certain that i will turn this around and we can avoid a relegation dogfight and start climbing the league table . Once again i would like to thank the supporters who stuck with us and gave us good vocal support." Repeat until i am sacked.................. Edited October 3, 201213 yr by captainmed
