He has a point though. A club with 16,000 fans that only spent a bit of money on a Leicester reject slagging the manager off for not being at the top of the Championship. We're hardly this season's New

  • Spot on. Mccarthy out!!!! He's a crap manager

  • know they dont

Not seen it yet. We don't get this game til Monday down here.

Hardly summat to look forward to.

He is obviously on his way soon.

McCarthy the saviour.

Not sure McCarthy is the saviour. As much as I liked his role in wolves' demise I don't think it would be a great step forward.

Yes the press would love him because of his so called straight talking Yorkshireman act, but I think if he got the job then fast forward 18 months later and we'll be in the same situation, having the same threads on here

Go on, convince me he's best choice

If we want to have zero faith in a manager keeping us up he would be one of the best choices after his efforts at Sunderland and Wolves

Isn't his record of getting clubs out of the Championship (in an upwards direction) fairly good?

Frankly, what I would like about his appointment is the inevitable rocket up the arse for some of the half hearted wastrels masquerading as our playing staff.

See I dont think its the rocket up the arse that they need, the way I see it is, we have some talented players led by a nice guy with limited knowledge of how to utilise them, nice guys win friends, but in football terms as in any business it needs a stratagist hard bastard who can command respect, and get them fit to play a full 94/5 minutes, this regime lacks in so many ways, I dont know who or when but something needs to change and quickly.

not seen the goals just the result thats all i needed.

Was always a supporter of OC, I have have almost lost all faith now.

Bit like Coyle then.

I think the fans have been unbelievably patient.

At last at Hull we told them exactly what we think and the message got through.

The performances from last season and into pre season and upto the Hull game have been unacceptable and the players are clearly not up for for the fight.

Thats down to the Manager, hes been found out big style.

At least PG has come out with some fighting talk and without our protests on Saturday that would not have happened IMO.

We have a voice. Further noise and he will go.

I would rather lose a couple more (if thats what it takes to get rid) rather than keep him for the season and struggle mid table with a last minute push for the play-offs.

Its not just about the results, its the limp performances.

see, i think we shut up now

gartside knows that plenty have had their fill and sacking coyle won't lead to some mass revolt

he had to be wary that sacking coyle would lead to the new fella never having a chance, a la megson

Is it true that these guys perform better at set pieces in training than Mills and Ream?

WOW! what are they?

Oh yes i remember, the 4th one of those, i.e. the right back is caught 60 yards too far up

He isn't, he's standing just to the right of the keeper's right hand post.

ie in a useless position, but playing the attackers onside.

That's obviously not a real pic, Traf.

If it was, both full-backs would have gone missing.
