July 26, 201511 yr It was very good and I'll be going again next year. Made me think of a modern-day up-to-date Deeply Vale. Decent beer and cider at under £5 a pint, great food (pizzas from a wood-fired oven, freshly made Aberdeen Angus burgers, Bengali curry, etc) and a mainly older generation mixed with younger "indie" kids. Three stages so plenty of choice of music and £17 for a day ticket. Saw some decent local bands - Barron and Purge (from Kearsley???) - and then watched The Smiths Ltd, Happy Mondaze and The Clone Roses. Bit cheesy watching tribute bands but a great atmosphere as loads of 40/50 year olds reliving it!!!! Clint Boon was the DJ as well I'd recommend it for a decent day/night out if you want to see plenty of live bands, have good beer and food, and not have to mix with a load of fucking scrotes that you get at places like Heaton Park
