I agree that the FA shouldn't be charging him if he's already been cleared in a court of law... but I also agree with NB, he knew this was coming so why wait until now to say they've made his position untenable? He should've done it as soon as the very day they charged him.

The logic of Cahill joining Chelsea was to make C-T a club and country combination.

He appears to be third string at the club and the international pairing is now a thing of the past.

 

When all 3 subs have been used and the GK gets injured or dismissed Jagielka is a sound replacement provided he is on the pitch....

Luiz when he goes wandering IMO is a liability. He really seems as though he could leave the back line at anytime and be caught in possession and seems to forget he is a central defender. I think as the season goes on cahill will become more of regular as he comes across as a bit more of a rock-steady defender and will become more of a regular for england.
