Yes it's you...

Is it not fucking obvious that when we are in the premier league we attract more high calibre managers?

What is wrong with that??

Your suggesting we appoint McCarthy to get us promoted then because we are in the prem then we can appoint a new manager because we're in the prem

At what point shall I stop asking

How about we pluck out of the air the names of any old boys.

Bagsie Scott Green & Mark Winstanley. What a winning combo!

Not just plucking names Hierro has been part of coaching/ developing the best generation of spanish players ever.

No No No.... That isn't what I am saying.

I am saying when we are in the premiership, naturally, we will attract better, higher calibre managers than now when we are 18th in the championship. MM doesn't really appeal to me but he is best of a bunch at the moment because of our situation so will have to do.

Comprende?

With Premiership status we automatically become more attractive, if it happened under MM, I doubt we'd be getting rid for better because that would be harsh but being in the Premiership gives us more chance to get a manager we want now, but can't because of relegation and not being a prem club.

That's why I said MM will be like a filler, one or two years like Coyle and Megson, this could go on for years until we find a new BSA, we need to change managers in times likes this to get us promotion, to then give more incentives and opportunities to get what we ultimately want.

And he'd come to us? Would you if you were him?

Let's be realistic

MM would be far the worst choice just hope we can help him cheer up a bit cause he ain't half a miserable git at times.

Tactical not a bad manager would like Sammy lee back as number two if its true

Fucking hell, let's get Charlie Cairoli, eh?

Why would we new to change if we're in the prem

Would definately have Sammy Lee involved with first team wether we change manager or not

I've said for a while on here and to friends that could solve it.

Coyle has brought in right players on budget

Coyle has sorted the wage bill

Coyle is well liked

The only thing he lacks is what Sammy Lee has...tactical nouse and coaching ability

Sack Sandy and Steve and bring him, David Lee and Jimmy Phillips onto the coaching staff

We wouldn't and I am not suggesting we should, I just meant that some people's targets are unrealistic and think MM is a bad choice but he is one of the only decent ones we could attract at the moment

Ok not realistic, but it couldn't hurt to ask him if he fancied a challenge (a fucking big challenge)

Well, we never have

So far, when we've had a PL vacancy we've given the job to Todd, lee, Megson and Coyle!

We may attract more applicants but the calibre has never been much better than McCarthy it would seem in fact we've probably only ever once entertained applications and we ended up with Megson, even then he had it before he was interviewed

Will another club give Coyle a job after what he's done here, these last 20 odd months have taken away the Brazil esque football between August 2010 to December 2010 and the Cup run and turned him into a joke manager,.

The only thing he's done good since Wembley was not on the pitch and that was his actions after Muamba's illness with the Press conferences and being a spokesman for our club and town in that difficult time.

I agree but I put these choices down to Gartside. One good appointment in BSA in his tenure and that was a fluke... Then he refused to back him, so I think the problem lies deeper than the manager.

Hierro's well up in the ranks with the Spanish national side isn't he? Never gonna come to us.

Now now, calm down. We do like the odd fact or two on here just for good measure.
