October 26, 201213 yr I don't really, I mean dropping sets meant I didn't need to do German and I was with my better friends in the lower set, I do believe that foreign language should be an option? like if you choose to do P.E, history, geography etc once you reach year 9 or 10. It's been 9 years since school and I've forgot a lot of it, I can count in French and German, but a lot of stuff as been forgotten. I learn't Russian in School, I left School 12 years ago.. Had a Lithuanian customer a few weeks back who couldn't speak English... amazing how much I remembered,

October 26, 201213 yr I was referring to the way you dropped sets. But yes, I have found having the basics of French and a little more advanced German helpful. If nothing, it got me around in the Euros. You really never know when you will use things you've learnt previously, which is why it is a good idea not to knock back any opportunities. vin rouge eh? vin rouge eh? red wine large or small?
