I always belonged to a union, with it being the AUEW or NUM, i think i did a one day strike with the former in 73, and a bit longer one with the latter in 84/85.

If someone joins the union at our place you know they are gonna be a handful with sickness etc.

 

Theres no other reason for it in a fucking call centre for fucks sake.

 

Every person ive dealt with in the unions is a grade 1 cunt. Not one of em has actually 'helped' the staff they are supporting other than delaying the inevitable.
