CSW Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 For anyone with Virgin train tickets for any early trains tomorrow (i.e me) it looks like Virgin are offering refunds for unused tickets & allowing people to travel on any train & not just the one specified on the ticket. I'm trying to get more details on this, but if it's right i'll probably get a later train when we've got news from Palace. http://www.virgintrains.co.uk/updates/ And news dependant, I will get an earlier one being as I was shrewdly booked on the 10:35. That makes £28.40 ret for 1 adult and 1 child, on ANY train, an absolute fookin bargain. Provided the game is on that is! Quote
Guest bwfcdan Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Virgin Trains confirming folk with tickets for tomorrow can travel anytime. Means we're gonna get the 08:35 instead of 07:35! COYW! Quote
miamiwhite Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 tomorrow is a good time to play them. Zaha won't like the cold and his style isn't suited to hard bumpy pitches. He'll have a stinker tomorrow and will not want to know MMW. they won't be able to play fluently as well If it goes ahead,it'll be the first time in weeks we hear the chant ''Eagles'' Quote

Exiled Girl Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 6 feet of snow and freezing here in SW 19, a short hop on the tramlink from the ground. My money's on it being off. Quote

EyesRight Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Was booked on the 10.35, getting the 9.35 now. Not arsed either way if it's called off, footballs all about the day out for me now, the 90-mins usually ruins it. Quote
Marc505 Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Just to note, looks like theres no tube between Euston and London Bridge tomorrow due to engineering work, bit of a spanner in the works that Quote
Casino Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 (edited) victoria solves that problem edit cant find any line works Edited January 18, 2013 by Casino Quote
Marc505 Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Strange, the nationalrail site says theres work being done and offers a 35 minute long diversion, the Transport For London site doesnt mention anything. Will just find out when we get there! Quote
radcliffe white Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 victoria straight down to thornton heath Quote
ex_midlandwhite Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Realise this is stating the obvious for many, but given I had to check, Thornton Heath is zone 4 so those with the travelcard tickets are laughing. Quote
ex_midlandwhite Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I honestly though East Croydon was way beyond zone 6, which given I spent years further south than there is a touch embarrassing! Quote
victor meldrew Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 The 15 mins past the hour manc to euston has been cancelled. The 20 mins past the hour euston to manc has been cancelled. Quote
