I have lost faith in him ever playing consistently well for us.

He has loads of ability and pace and a reasonable finishing record this season but something is missing? Desire?

Lack of desire is unforgivable IMO so the next £1.5-2 million offer and I'd say au revoir!

I love SKD for what he's done for us and often we look better with him in the team

 

But I think we should start weening him out of the team

 

If we play 2 up front, here's my layman's look at it:

 

SKD & CD - can't see it working. Start one of them.....CD if he's any good

 

NGog & CD - maybe

 

Sordell & CD - maybe

I'd sack Afobe off. KD, CD, Ngog and Sordell will do me for this division.

 

Disgaree about Ngog not being arsed, I still don't think we've seen an extended run of him starting and fully fit. Too many niggly injuries rather than a bad attitude in my opinion. He's our most talented forward by some distance when he's on his game in my opinion. Has an extra bit of guile that could make all the difference in a play off type of game.

 

What I would say about Craig Davies (albeit judged by his highlight reel on Youtube) - is that he seems to score his goals from everywhere. Both feet, with his head, up close, from distance, chipping the keeper, placing shots and powering them in. Can he string it all together consistently is the question. Hopefully just a late developer in terms of being prolific.

I initially thought he looked a bit thick, but then realised how smart he is by having his own surname stamped onto his arm incase he ever forgets it.

I would imagine C Davies has been signed to be the number 1 choice striker, he's Freedman's own man so I expect him to start on saturday. I hope Sordell also starts earning his money but wouldn't bet on him starting on saturday.

 

Afobe hasn't impressed me at all so i'd phase him out of the picture and i'd also start with KD on the bench. That leaves N'Gog up top with OCD on saturday
