was someone going to do that on here?

I've got a decent video player and DVD recorder, SCART leads etc. Not sure I can be bothered...

surely worth the effort with the 95 compilation?

Got a few of these, transferred the 95 to DVD I think somewhere ages ago. If I remember correctly, split and copied to 2 DVDs to preserve quality. Not that the quality is that great. Suspect it would have gone to one disc at a push.

 

Not much of a job if you have a DVD recorder and video - just record to DVD while you are doing something else, burn and bob's your uncle. Be nice to have some decent packaging and sleeve art though.

I'd be more than happy to contribute. I can't remember much pre 97/98 being a relatively young'n and love watching the older clips on youtube etc. I'd love to see more stuff, especially the cup runs that always get mentioned and the promotion seasons.

Jimmy Goodinson from Roadrunner video still has all his collection of games from February 1988 through to May 1995. I've got Jimmy's phone numbers if anybody wants to get in touch with him. He also has the first game of 85/86 season (Bolton 1 Rotherham 1) with Simon Marland commentating. They did it because it was the 90th or 100th anniversary of Burnden or something.

 

I've got loads of the original videos done by Roadrunner's predecessors having bought them from the guy that did the. These started in January 1986 and went through to January 1988. First few are with no commentary then Dave Higson gets involved.

 

There's some good stuff there but also the really grim slide relegation to Div 4 and games featuring a big hole appearing on the Embankment while they starting to build Normid.

Gumbo and I have a rather funny tale regarding "Jimmy the cameraman" from Sunny Beach

Got about 110 videos and about 25 ish on dvd

 

Also got all the games from first euro tour on dvd

Id be in for this. Ive got the kit to hook a VCR to a PC and record and edit before burning to a disc but no VCR.

 

I got it as ive got loads of old footage from the telly recorded on tapes (The Bros boys interview and the like).

 

Id be interested in buying Old roadrunner tapes put onto DVD especially if somebody has lightscribe to do a proper job. A Mate of mine used to be able to print covers to copied CD's years ago so shouldnt be too much trouble to do something similar for copied DVD cases.

 

Also id be interested in buying VHS tapes too.
