Well, I've just ordered one online and will be able to pick it up from the Tesco petrol station on Bradford St which is only about half a mile from where I live.  Happy days.

Haven't been given a delivery date yet but I'd be very surprised if it's not delivered before Christmas.

Casino's right.  Once you get it, download the Utorrent app and also MX player.  The world is then your lobster and you'll be free to download filums and music from the millions of torrent sites that are out there. If you've not done this before and are unsure then just give us a shout when you've got your mitts on the tablet and I'll walk you through it.

Received an email saying it's ready for me to pick up.  Bingo bango.

I'll have a butcher's at it over the weekend and report back.

Reet.  Had a good play with this over the weekend and I'm hugely impressed, especially for the price.

The screen is very good quality and as it's standard Android, very easy to use.  If I was to be hyper critical, the downsides would be that the volume could be a little higher and it's not exactly lightening quick when switching between apps.  For £120 though it's a great bit of kit.

For some reason Utorrent just did not want to work on it.  It would just open and then say it's not responding and then close.  I managed to download another torrent downloader from the play store though and that works fine.  Already put a few filums and some albums on it.

All the Tesco apps/widgets that clog up the screens are easy to remove (by that I mean remove them from the screen rather than delete them).

In summary, I'd heartily recommend it for someone who wants a tablet but doesn't want to pay too much for one.

Top stuff cheers for that Daz, you've just confirmed that it is more than good enough for what I want to use it for.

I'll go and get myself one of them then when I can get round to it.

No probs mate.

I think you'll might struggle to pick one up in store.   Might be best for you to order online and then pick up from store of your choice. That's what I did and it only took 24 hours.

I'll be interested to know if anyone else has trouble with uTorrent, aTorrent and BitTorrent.  The cynic in me says they've set them up so that these won't work, as that would takeway from their online movie service which can you access through the tablet.

'tTorrent Lite' definitely DOES work though.  It just means you can only download one thing at a time.

isohunt.to aint working with my utorrent on android

playstore reviews do suggest some issues with utorrent

Kickass paired with tTorrent Lite will do the job.

Well, it was working on Saturday morning anyway.

I've still not opened the ones I have bought but they sound bang on for the job they will be doing.

Recently my Acer Iconia tablet is taking a fucking age to fully charge up.  I'm talking at least 5 or 6 hours.

Anything I can do to improve this?

Is everything fully closed down when you're trying to charge it up? - Mrs CWP was having a problem with her tablet, and it transpires she had Bluetooth on and it was constantly looking to connect to stuff, she turned that off and the charging time improved quite a bit

Yep, everything closed via TaskKiller and even put into 'airplane mode'.

Rub it with a bloon.

Aye.

Tried two different leads but same thing.  It is charging, just slowly.

Done a battery test and nowt appears to be draining it.

drain it and leave it for a few days then do a full charge.

Throw it down the stairs
