Really enjoyed that, I actually gave a shit about the characters and am already looking forward to the next one.

FWIW - I've just watched it and it was fucking ace. I believe that the force is real again and I might practice trying to move things with the power of my mind again like when I was little!

Worked to be fair

I thought it was very good, whether its excellent or not will be done to the next films I think - where some of the story threads go.

 

My main gripe was the pacing. The first 40 minutes were a bit too fast for my liking (But then I quite liked all the Trade Route stuff!), but as I say, there was a lot to introduce us to and keep old fans happy as well. The other one is a spoiler so I won't mention it for folk who haven't been yet. Oh and in space why does no one get 'Helmet Hair'? Is that the true power of the Force? Perfectly coiffured hair?

It's fucking utterly brilliant.
