no balls Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 I've not even had a text from my Burnley supporting mate. They must've lost interest in us since we got rid of the Messiah. Either that or they're too busy laughing at Blackburn. Quote
tomski Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 They still go on about Oc on that clarets mad. I don't think they'll ever let it go. Sad bastards Quote
tomski Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 They saying they will struggle to fill that. Quote
radcliffe white Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 With still a week to go plus pay on day they will bring 3k. Quote
RUREADY2ROLL Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Got to win, we are in a relegation scrap, no mistake. Think we will win too, 4-1 Hope your right - I am next to you Saturday and you know how I can moan if its not going to plan Quote
campo'swig Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 Just got time to see Watfords 2nd goal...by christ that is embarrassing defending!!Someone get a foot in ffs. 4 players around the passer and not a block in sight.Very much like Peterborough away. Quote
Rembrandt Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 We need to do everything to keep clean sheets and I'm not saying Bogdan is a bad keeper but I think Lonergan has the experience and a bigger presence he should be first choice, secondly we've leaked goals all season, we need to drop Knight and get Dawson in, once Wheater is fit they should be the 2 centre halfs, I'm not happy with our right backs and think Ream might do a job there Ricketts is o.k. for now midfield we need 2 sitting midfielders and that should be Kamara if he is as good as Freedman says and team him up with Spearing, that allows the 2 wingers to to push on with a bit more freedom and up top at the moment it has to be Sordell as he's the best finisher that we have got and when Mark Davies is fit play him in the attacking midfield position or alternatively go 2 up top with Craig Davies as he at least looks mobile , the mentality has to be they shall not pass clean sheets are what will keep us up and nothing less will do. Now you're just being plain ........ ......... logical, Mounts. Quote
Ratwhite Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 This great "squad" of ours has within it a team that on paper should be, possibly, maybe, capable of walloping a team by a good few goals. With the wind blowing in the right direction, rub of the green, lady luck smiling upon us etc. So with these "facts" to hand. I am revising my earlier 3-0 prediction and going 4-0! Quote
DazBob Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Is it too early to mark this down as a must-win game? I'll say 2-0 to us. Nemo and Eagles. Having said that we might draw or could possibly lose. Fuck knows. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 (edited) It's D day Saturday for Freedman big changes needed the message has to go out loud to the players that this level of defending is not acceptable, it's been the same all season absolutely disgraceful I want to see a minimum of 4 changes and possibly 5, my worry is that Freedman said we defended well after the match the fact of the matter is we did not defend well, we were rubbish at the back they had 3 attacks all game scored 2 and Bogdan saved the other in a one on one. burnden Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Thing is mounts it isn't D-Day for him is it , look how long coyle was given , he is going nowhere and taking the club with him ......sad but true. Quote

Mounts Kipper Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 He's only had three months! At least give him chance to play his new signings I am giving him a chance on paper his signings look decent and as managers stand and fall on who they signed its time for him to use and trust his signings and that should start Saturday. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 How many chances are you giving him? If i was in charge i would review his position at the end of this season as long as we stay up I would give him more time if he took this squad down then he's not a manager to take us forward, but that's just my opinion. Eavesy Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 How the hell are we meant to defend better with 4 or 5 changes? Quote
Traf Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 How the hell are we meant to defend better with 4 or 5 changes? If the 4 or 5 replacements are better at defending than the ones making way? Just a thought, mind you. Quote
DazBob Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 How the hell are we meant to defend better with 4 or 5 changes? We're not defending terribly well by not making any changes though are we Chris? Quote
Eavesy Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 So the team start making progress and buying into the style of play and then we suddenly ship 5 of em out and bring in 5 new ens. Give over. Bring in a winger to give either lee or eagles a rest. And possibly bring in Mears for Ricketts. That's at a push. Quote
DazBob Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 (edited) Come on Chris, we're 3 points from a relegation place and you think bringing Mears back in and resting Eagles or Chungy will make the difference? For the first time this season I'm actually concerned about relegation. To simply dismiss it as something that won't happen is simply burying your head in the sand. Casino Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 dawson is surely here to play and the african i'd be very surprised if those 2 didn't start on saturday Quote

For the first time this season I'm actually concerned about relegation. To simply dismiss it as something that won't happen is simply burying your head in the sand. it won't happen 2 good games v sunderland we've played well at palace very well against everton and from most reports, done well against one of the form teams it isn't where we should be, or where i expect us to be, nor is it relegation stuff Quote

We are where we are because we deserve to be there. We're not there because we've been unlucky. These new signings need to come in asap and hit the ground running. Quote
Guest bwfcdan Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 “@BurnleyOfficial: For all asking, we still have plenty of tickets remaining for lower tier at Bolton. Tickets for upper will not go on sale until lower sold.” Quote
