February 8, 201313 yr I feel rather fortunate that BWFC's rise from the old 4th div to prem gave me the opportunity to watch us on over 100 different grounds over the last 25 years. If you are not in the prem it doesn't matter what league you are in. If we did go down (don't think we will) it gives most people new places to visit and some good days out on terracing. It's hardly the end of the world.

When they went down to League 1 he was full of it about visiting new places, getting back to real football etc etc. First away day at Hartlepool, at the end of it he said it just made him feel a bit sad! Sure there are some cracking aways, but there is some absolute nonsense as well and the home games at the Reebok dont even bear thinking about!!

Sure there are some cracking aways, but there is some absolute nonsense as well and the home games at the Reebok dont even bear thinking about!! and the 7-1 home defeat to Colchester obvs that was the catalyst to sacking gunn, getting into lambert and back to backs but I bet it wasn't a pleasant Saturday night on canariesways

February 8, 201313 yr If you are not in the prem it doesn't matter what league you are in. Sorry, Cap'n. Don't remember the fans feeling that way when we were spending 10 years in the bottom 2 divisions. Hence why the crowds at Burnden dropped to 40000 or so - it wasn't always packed to the rafters, whatever others say.
