if, by some miracle we went up

this would be pushing my bestest ever season

obv, its not the football, the social side makes it

im over 21 :) and made loads of new mates this year

until now, its prob the one we stayed up by beating middlesbrough

what about you lot?

I'd agree the social side has been bang on more so than usual! Met lots of good people. I always enjoy the football too as I think I alwways will with anything Bolton related. Coywm!

I know what you mean, that this is a good space, but the best ever?

let me think

Def my fav season watching the Whites in recent years. Met loads of new folk and made some genuine friends off here. Away days have been fantastic, seeing fimiliar faces of this forum all in good spirits and having a drink. Going to and from games has been something to look forward to, unlike recent Prem seasons where it was becoming a chore.

Been bang on this season, would love a trip to Wembley but would be a bit gutted if we went up.

Looking forward to the Lancs, Yorks and London aways all next season already :drinks:

Been a great season (socially). Interest for the match, home and away, as increased significantly darn our end of Athy. Two more season tickets on board for next season already. If we did (though I doubt it) go up, it would be tinged with sadness at the thought of not going Huddersfield, Barnsley and London(s) for some top away days.

Fingers crossed, not sure what for though.........

Nothing will beat Riochs first year, great run in the last 17 or so games, the week that was Bournemouth and Hull and knocking the wall pushers out the cup on their own patch and the dog heads on their own turf too.

That was something special as a season

Thought I would hate playing in the Championship, nearly didn't renew my season ticket. The away days have made it for me. Great atmosphere, turning out in good numbers, but terrible atmosphere at the Reebok.

The aways have been good this year but I hope we have a short stay in the championship.

The problem is if we fail to get promoted for the next few years, the novelty will wear off and our away followings will drop.

Away day wise, them first two seasons back in the PL 2001-2003 top it

02/03 was when the Wways elders first started to become known I think

one more season hear just for the away games cause some i wanted to go i could not make

I've loved it this season.

ive enjoyed this seasons away trips. done more this season than i have for years.

Its all about going to the game knowing we could win, lose or draw away from home, mostly lose granted but in the Prem its lose or draw at 14/19 aways

Thats all a personal opinion i realise the club needs Premiership money.

Great entertainment.

The ability to play 442 with a goalscorer and get away with it has a certain amount of excitement.

Having a left back who ends up half volleying one 10 yards out seems crazy considering to what it used to be like.

Although there's been a few dogshit not near the ball getting dicked by shit teams like Burnley away and Brighton away and millwall away (result aside)

cant beat the championship

best league in the world

I go to watch Bolton, whatever league they are in. I can watch United, City, Chelsea etc. on the box.

I said last season, that playing outside of the Premier League wasn't the end of the world. The away matches this year have been as good as any I can remember in 40 odd years of watching the whites.

which years was the last team you watched regular, skips?

I'll let you research it Bury boy. Less of the skips.

A 1-0 home win v. Hereford in 1988 was my 'goodbye' visit to Burnden. Of course, I attended more games there during my numerous visits as well as to the Bok but, sadly, I left when we were in the fourth.

Maybe the improved fortunes since then are connected to me leaving? ;) :D

I think it was a dig at my age. 3 lads guessed my age as mid-forties at Charlton last week. :-) They were pissed though. It's actually 47 years watching the Whites.

I think that's a few times I've been nice to you recently, Boby, don't get used though
