I’m not saying fury is anything but a phenomenal fighter. What he’s done and been through is remarkable. And yes he’s undefeated of course he is.

but he lost that fight by a wide margin. At the time I thought why are they backing this guy to that extent he’s crap. I’m a well regarded boxing analyst as you can see 😬. It’s now become clear. But not in their wildest dreams did they expect him to achieve what he has.

I don’t think he will retire either. Not without beating the winner of aj and usyk and becoming undisputed.

It happens and it’s shit. I remember the fight and I couldn’t quite believe it. But probably like yourself been watching that long a judges decision doesnt surprise me, but FWIW from who he was then to who he is now is quite remarkable.

Its sat in my bedside drawer gathering dust. In both senses of the word.

Shall It stay there?

Yeah, it's on a par with the "We've ran from nobody and battered everybody" FV books.

Youngest bought it me for Xmas along with a collection of Noam Chomsky's works. I've enjoyed the latter far more.

In his (pisspoor) autobiography, Fury pretty much alludes to getting beaten by McDermott, by saying he felt he just about did enough to win and he was grateful that the ref was the sole judge.

Aye in Dublin hopefully. From the same town as our Maude , Bray.

She’s adored there and desperate for a fight in front of her own fans. Mrs doesn’t watch boxing unless it’s Katie. Filthy casual .

Yeah I know what you mean. Enjoyed this card though. Felt for Oliveira being stripped.

Nate Diaz seems to be returning soon. Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s against Connor

Triology makes most sense for both

both coming of loses, and no real weight cut if its at 170

could see conor v chandler tho for number 1 contender

can see olivera v makhachev for the belt
