May 17, 201313 yr That's fookin awful. I thought we were better. Kids forced to watch from the gods now this. Let's hope on the field we've got a brain. Edited May 17, 201313 yr by HR
May 17, 201313 yr Hope not , fucking vermin ripping off people who are in Shit as it is . Nobody is forced into it, mind
May 17, 201313 yr Thought Blackpool were bad enough with wonga! Really hope not, it really is a crappy name and makes us look small time. Definitely not fit to be on the white shirt. The club would go down in my estimation if true.
May 17, 201313 yr See no problem with it myself. We need a sponsor they are the ones wanting to sponsor us

May 17, 201313 yr Happy for them to sponsor us. Pay day loans are a necessary entity and make valid sense to alot of people. And they've created alot of jobs for alot of people and its great to have successful companies in the uk from a economy perspective.
May 17, 201313 yr Bloody loan sharks , APR 1734%. Our club should steer well clear. The fact that you know what the APR is shows they are transparent. Folk might not like it, but I'm never wearing a shirt again not going again etc is hysteria.
May 17, 201313 yr The APR comparison is bollocks anyway. They're intended as short term loans, not annual ones. If you borrowed £20 off a bloke in the pub and said you'd pay him back in 2 days and buy him a pint for his troubles, you'd probably say that was a reasonable deal. But if a pint costs £3, you've paid 15% interest in 2 days, the APR from that is astronomical. Edited May 17, 201313 yr by Traf
May 17, 201313 yr We are £130 million or whatever in debt. The idea that we are advertising a loan company is quite perverse.
May 17, 201313 yr any more perverse than gambling 100 million on staying in the prem and having bet 8181818181 on our shirts/
May 17, 201313 yr We are £130 million or whatever in debt. The idea that we are advertising a loan company is quite perverse. Why? How much money do we owe to loan companies? Or banks for that matter?
May 17, 201313 yr We are £130 million or whatever in debt. The idea that we are advertising a loan company is quite perverse. The idea of comparing Tiffany from breightmet wanting to send little Russell on school trip and getting a pay day loan to a business employing hundreds of people with £19m of debt and 70m of bankroll from a fan is perverse

May 17, 201313 yr I don't like such companies And it would stop me buying a shirt Although I'm not that arsed about owning a shirt these days anyway
May 18, 201313 yr The more worrying element of all this is the rumour that gartside will be refinancing the clubs debts with quick quid as part of the same deal.
May 18, 201313 yr I think it does matter and I don't like 188bet either. Rich people advertising loan sharks to the poor people paying their wages leaves a bad taste to me. My lad is 14 and he only wants a 'proper' top with the logo. (Tried getting him the one minus 188bet not interested), having 'Quick Quid' or one of these 24 hour betting companies on it honestly makes me less proud to see him wearing the shirt. Maybe I am being too idealistic but it just how I feel.
