warwickshirewanderer
Anyone hear Prime Minister's Questions today? Quote from David Cameron at the despatch box - "I wish Bolton Wanderers well for the future".
DomRepWanderer
Thats a bit of a random thing for him to say, was there a reason for his saying it ?
Zulu
Did he say 'Bolton' or 'Bowton' in a 'down with the yoof' sort of way?

Maybe he dissed us recently for us having a 'legal loan shark' as a sponsor, but now we're not baddies any more he felt the need to say something positive? Guest bwfcdan
David Crausby asked the Prime Minister to congratulate the club on getting rid of Quick Quid sponsorship apparently.
jayjayoghani
I'd have had more respect for him had he said "I couldnt give a shit about Bolton Wanderers"
freds dad
He's only wishing us well as he's a Villa fan and won't be playing us next season.

David Cameron is a liar http://www.publicati...xt/11015-30.htm Mr. David Cameron (Witney): It is a pleasure to follow the hon. Member for Leigh (Andy Burnham), who knows a lot about his subject. Not only is he a football fan, he is quite an accomplished cricket player, as I discovered during a game this summer. Many of those who have spoken in the debate or have written about the subject are either lawyers or football fans, but I have to confess that I am neither:

If he really wanted to cheer everyone up with something positive he'd have said... "Mr. Speaker, I must announce my resignation as Prime Minister as I am HIV+" Or 'I've heard Bolton is completely fucked, so I'm giving a large amount of cash to the town to sort things out. The only condition attached is that fat Cliff can't get anywhere near it'.
