Keep away,  shut both ways between B&Q Junction and Raikes Lane. Didn't see any fire engines (maybe on strike?) but loads of OB cars everywhere.

Nope.   You spend an hour telling me how ignorant and sanctimonious I am, then when someone else comes along and says that they used to feel that way you then admit that YOU used to feel that way.

I was coming from Total Fitness and the had drive over Bradford St bridge up towards Trinity Street, nothing was allowed coming down from TS over the bridge past Travelodge.

Without being cruel I'd imagine there's some grim lives in the B&Bs round that area with the added 'joy' of Christmas as a catalyst. It can be a shite time of year for some

This.

I just missed being caught up in it.  The OB came whizzing passed and blocked it off from town in front of me.

I know I made a flippant remark about jumpers (sweaters) but it is WW....

Seriously though your last sentence if very true NB. I do some volunteer work and I see some of the lives people have to live. Not nice.

I agree with your sentiment regarding the dicks who phone an ex threatening or those who dangle their legs from the top of a building, though from the unreliable medium of the interweb this sounds like a "proper" one

Also, anyone who thinks they can rationalise the mind of someone who commits suicide & that they should think of others left behind to clean up & to cope with their loss,  then the probably will never understand it.

I;ve been saying this for years, but if you say it in company you're a miserable fucker.. it's a horrible time for some.

Young load called Kyle Smith I'm hearing

Pretty sure I read somewhere that Christmas is the time with the highest suicide rates. If the daemons in your brain are there then the pressure to be 'happy' can push folk over the edge.

BB, you shouldn't name till there's an official statement unless that's a joke I don't get
