  • Its an early start 6.25 from Horwich Parkway. Then 7.15 from Piccadilly. As for the rest of the itinerary , Its a bloody goodun. Just hope Dougie realises how much we SACRIFICE to follow OUR TEAM.

  • Look at the season as a whole. Not because of today, worse start in over hundred years, worst defeat in thirty odd years, no progress in terms of tactics and organization, defence shitter than ever (h

  • Millwall fan here.   Massive game now on Saturday, after tonight's results for our respective teams. Holloway started with 4 strikers tonight & is clearly mental, & I don't expect that to ch

The reason that Mark Davies didn't impact on the game is because he was being asked to play wide right - he is NOT a winger

Garrp was gutted he missed the twats that unveiled the "Freedman Out, Gartside Out" banner at full time. He was gunning for them from 11.30am...

aye, i got the text early doors

at least the spelling was ok

another 2 points lost or a decent point away at a fellow relegation candidate?

I'd have taken a point

The first half we were crap and cleared off the line; the second cleared off the line was AFTER he had brought on Knight and the scored seconds later

i'm relying on commentary but they said we cleared two off the line and bogdan made a world class save

BEFORE knight came on

is this not the case?

But if you actually go to the game cas you would have seen the change by playing five defenders when we were so much on top

Think you must be shagging Douglas the way you support him

At no point in that game would I describe us as so much on top.

In fact first 15 mins we barely touched the ball in their half

anyway, we got one more point than i thought we'd get

So some on here think it was a master stroke by Freedman to replace a midfielder capable of turning a game with a defender who has single handedly been responsible for major fuck ups this season.

the guy is an inept clueless tosser, Knight really ???????

I am sick of asking now, and it obviously isn't going to happen.

Quite a few condescending comments on the lines of us having some kind of a right to beat likes of Millwall.

We have no divine right to beat anyone; be it Witton Albion, Arsenal, Gretna or anyone.

If these said comments were about us, on a Liverpool board, we'd be on one!

See this I don't get.

Mavies to me seems ideal to play the no 10 role.

Why does it never happen?

Pen missed , post hit ...... Another day we could have been 3 up . Its Just how it's going for us at the mo So will take the point and on to next week

COYWM

I would say I'm satisfied with a point. Not happy but not pissed off either as I expected to lose. Not seen any of it but listening to reports etc seems a point was a point gained.

If we end up going down, it's not because we can't beat Millwall away, it's our piss poor home form - rectify that and a struggle disappears immediately

An away point is always a good result.

The home form is killing us.

Today's point was a good point too.

It denied a fellow struggler a home win from one of their easiest fixtures on paper.

And as we average less than a point per game, a point is better than expected.

Sorry for using facts and logic, I'm off to drink some bleach.

We should be beating shit like that end of

On the train home.

Might have conceded more without him

Or the same

Or less

But he brought on a defender to try and defend a lead....

something that we have failed miserably all season....

senseless

its shit or bust time douglas...

grow some balls and kill a game off you scottish a shitbag

We should be beating shit like that end of

Why?

I think people are showing total disrespect to millwall. Yes on paper we are streets ahead of them but in the real world we are having big problems so a point is ok as long as we build on it and turn a good performance next time out.

Why?

Because we are massive, you know, like the same reason West Ham and Newcastle have a divine right to win games too. Oh hold on, we used to mock their fans for saying things like that!

Zat Knight is bobbins when he is on the park we concede.

And this train is delayed yet again.

By putting him on the pitch .

I sends a message to the opposition.

That we are trying to SHUT up shop.

You see

I love Anewman's enthusiasm and blind loyalty. He wants success and and is not prepared to accept anything other than victory.

It's commendable and genuine.

However, as you say, believing we should just beat anyone given the current state of affairs is bordering on Scouse. Unacceptable.

Of course, we shouldn't be in this position but we are a parochial club who, like many many others, walk a fine line between success and failure. Unfortunately failure is easier to come by in the cash rich sea of modern football.

I love Anewman, truly, and if our players had his attitude we'd be top of the league. Trouble is, the real world doesn't work like that.

It's a shame, but its the way it is.

The guy is a bleeding liability

And don't give a toss about BWFC
