February 3, 201412 yr Did a day trip there a few years ago. Very nice and pretty. Don't be an amateur/tourist like I was and have a drink on the main square though ... unless you fancy paying £7 for pint.
February 3, 201412 yr Great place. Would go back there tomorrow. Some good bars and lots of great restaurants. Very scenic.
February 3, 201412 yr thought it was average as a place, was a nice enough back drop for christmas markets if it weren't for the fact the bars do loads of ales, if you're not a connoiseur, i imagine it's all much of a much muchness if i were going for 3 nights, would do 1 in bruges, 1 in gent, 1 in brussels if only 2, gent and bruges
February 3, 201412 yr There's a massive swingers club in Bruges, forget its name now. Few of their videos feature on Pornhub. Big free for alls etc
February 3, 201412 yr been 3 times. for the tommy tourist try the Cafedraal restaurant. It's the place where colin farrell twatted the 'canadian' best restaurants are the ones near the convent and the Lake of Love, plus a decent Argentinian place just off the main square.

Is Little Whitt aware of this facility?

February 4, 201412 yr Definitely recommend Ghent as well. Did a half day there on the way back to Brussels from Bruges. Twas a good place. The Graslei is in the Top 10 places in the world to have a beer. Rude not to.
January 28, 201610 yr Going in April for 10th wedding anniversary. Eurostar. Not booked a hotel, want a belter. 2 nights only probably. Recommendations? Posh restaurant needed also.

Clown, for the ultimate in Bruges, there is only this one to go.......... http://www.mobilebooker.com/hotels/relais-bourgondisch-cruyce-hotel-brugge In the film, it was the setting of many scenes. But, Bruges is a shithole......BCG knows this for fact....

January 29, 201610 yr Don't drink on the square unless you're happy paying a tenner a pint. Ill informed rubbish. We were drinking the large Kwaks on the square for much less. Make sure you do the beer tunnel place. Best outside seating in Bruges by far. Steak on a stone at the restaurant nearest to the Timmy Mallet statue. Will have to look it up later.
January 29, 201610 yr Check the trains from Bruges. There's a fast one and a slow one. Way home stop in Ghent. The lockers at the station are inexpensive. Get a tram into the centre. Lovely place. Eat mussels and/or stew on the Graslei.
