Rome wasn't built in a day especially after some knob blew the foundations up the year before u got the gig - Doug is learning from his mistakes and does frustrate but there's a bloody good manager under there I'm convinced now

Oh please, not that lame excuse again. We finished 7th last season. The foundations had already been rebuilt. So if he's 'learning from his mistakes', what happened this season? We haven't been in the top half of the table all season long.

When will you lot realise that changing the manager every other year is not the answer.

DF needs more time, he was left with a load of players he could not get rid of on big wages. Blame the previous manager for panic buying in his last two transfer windows.

Big bucks to get rid of him and his entourage until their contracts are up or there is a break clause.

 

So we are stuck with him for quite a while longer and might as well make the best of it.

Hutton, Danns, Mason, Jutkiewicz, 4 of the starting 11 yesterday, more than a third, all on loan, none may be here next season. Dunno about you but that doesn't constitute assembling a squad in my book. Next year's starting XI will look fuck all like this, with or without Dougie.

I think DF will be a good manager given time and we will improve with him in charge next season. 

However, if we change manager now it may go worse next year. You are prepared to take that chance, I am happy with stability and let DF continue his long term plan.

Precisely. DF has had to patch it up with loans due to injury and the poor form of some so called stars (Eagles, CYL).  Most of us can see that I think. He has a big Summer ahead though.
