Exercise, nutrition/hydration and rest. Get them right then if you are still knackered get down the doctors.

Don't be giving it "oooh I'm so tired" whilst troughing on a KFC bargain bucket.

quite right Carlos, I've recently started running again, and I feel far less knackered than when I was doing cock all

thanks all...

in recent months ive certainly cut down on exercise, only once a week now, rather than the old 2 or 3 times. so i'll make a point of getting up and going again.

i eat fairly healthly imo. mainly home cooked, with a jar for laziness here and there.

i only have a take out once a week. usually indian / chinese / italian

as for fast food, once a month maybe.

one thing thats changed is that i dont do breakfast anymore. should force that down really.

if you are going to run, do you get the run out of the way and then eat

or eat, then run when its gone down?

i know i read its exercise, then eat pretty soon after as your body is chasing calories but no doubt theres about 715 different expert views

Breakfast is without doubt the most important meal of the day.

If your skipping that,no wonder your fucked.

You will be going 10-12 hours without food therefore your body will be tucking into stored energy, basically draining your battery flat.

Once a battery is flat it takes longer to re charge. If you catch my drift.

Try to lower your carb intake and see if that makes a difference.

When I eat bread or pasta for dinner, I'm knackered by about 3pm. Tuna salad, no mid afternoon drowsiness.

Caveman diet is the way forward!

This reminds me, what's happened to Frandsen08?

ive always thought its exercise then eat straight after.

Some health guru type told me to eat little and often throughout the day

Which I can't be arsed doing so have lunch then exercise after work then eat

he pointed out that doing it like that you're running on empty then filling up after

Best to do exercise with Some energy in you

But again, can't be arsed changing my routine

Cavemen didn't live that long like.

Today I had cous cous with vegetables on a bed of lettuce, topped with a bit of grated carrots and hummus for a bit of moisture. Bowl of porridge at 4 as I won't be getting my tea until after 9.

Did IF for a year, skipped breakfast every day. One thing it never caused was a mid afternoon crash. My blood sugar levels were very constant, hence why I did it.

I'd echo Carlos' summary. Give coffee a miss too if you drink lots. For every up, there's a down.
