His day isn't often enough though is it Eagles was the same in the Championship; in the end it was better for the team that he wasn't there, despite his obvious talent at that level It's fuck all to do with his granny shagging, playing for DMB's or being a Scouser He needs to step up at this WC and be effective without his head going (as mentioned in Frank's last line)
May 28, 201412 yr Author Well it's certainly now or never for him. He's been unfit going into every major tournament since 2004. This time him and Sturridge have been working together day after day in training and in the warm ups,so there's no more excuses on that front. He's best we've got ability wise by a country mile. If his head is right now there's no reason he can't make a big impact at this World Cup.
May 28, 201412 yr Undoubtedly the best English striker around on his day, but he's massively overrated over here. Makes me laugh when he's lauded as 'World Class'. He's far from it. The only time he's looked anything close to that level was when he had CR7 playing up there with him. IMO, of course.
