I notice that George McCartney was released by West Ham at the end of last season - currently a free agent.

If you check out a list of Lennon's signings at Celtic there are a hell of a lot from Scandinavia and the low countries and not all at great expense. Hope that means some clever continental signings lie ahead - along with bringing the likes of Wilkinson, White, Kellett, Threlkeld through.
