July 25, 201412 yr And he seemed to do it two different ways which was intriguing The first was just a trick move because he didn't back his legs - works once a year at most. Surprised he then had the gas to get by 2nd time but he did get the Aussie to go very long which gave him an edge. Hope he gets a medal but judging by his flying lap it'll be on a wing and a prayer.
July 25, 201412 yr Big fat lad cruising round on a tandem bike here. This could jump the shark if it's not careful.
July 25, 201412 yr Top job from Kenny, making the final after such a weak qualifying run. Pretty low general standard with no frogs or Germans there but must be nice to know he can make up for that amount of speed differential with his head.

Pretty low general standard with no frogs or Germans there but must be nice to know he can make up for that amount of speed differential with his head. On the other hand, he really should not have been as low as 11th in qualifying - 13th would have been unlucky! And Hindes was there and he is pretty German.
July 25, 201412 yr I'm surprised the French haven't won a couple of medals, they're usually OK on the old bikes. Even more surprising is the lack of US medals in the pool, are they boycotting or something?
July 25, 201412 yr I'm surprised the French haven't won a couple of medals, they're usually OK on the old bikes. Even more surprising is the lack of US medals in the pool, are they boycotting or something? The USof A were drummed out after misbehaviour at a tea party way back when (see MaggieT for details). The only French speaking country involved is Cameroon. But a part of it was British (and the rest French) after the Germans lost their colonies in 1919. The other non-English country involved is Mozambique (Anewman is the expert thereabouts).
July 25, 201412 yr I used to swim at a decent standard and yes, you are correct I didnt think that dwarfs could swim, must be to do with their funny arms
July 25, 201412 yr The only French speaking country involved is Cameroon. Do they not speak French in Vanuatu?
July 25, 201412 yr I didnt think that dwarfs could swim, must be to do with their funny arms They get buoyancy from their massive heads as well I think
July 25, 201412 yr Do they not speak French in Vanuatu? Yes but English is also an official language.

July 25, 201412 yr Reckon NB would like a go on the silver bloke next to Becky Adlington. He's a stunner, isn't he? Mark is a bummer but I'd have a good go at getting him to change his ways
July 25, 201412 yr He's a stunner, isn't he? Mark is a bummer but I'd have a good go at getting him to change his ways No idea. I'd like to see Becky's doggy style.
July 25, 201412 yr Why can Black people not swim? 'Cos you've got your foot on their head? ...I think I've used the punchline for a different joke
July 25, 201412 yr The BBC is investing plenty into this, the Carling Cup of international sporting events
July 26, 201412 yr On the other hand, he really should not have been as low as 11th in qualifying - 13th would have been unlucky! And Hindes was there and he is pretty German. They really do seem to take the 'off years' thing pretty seriously because his flying lap was woeful - pretty ordinary level of competition here for the sprints and as you say he was nowhere.
July 26, 201412 yr 2/10 and that's being generous Come on boys have a heart she's better than a 2/10 and she's looking better than when she swam she's a 5/10 at least.
July 26, 201412 yr Gymnast with a hula hoop just on. Having done gymnastics to quite a high standard I can confirm that isn't a hula hoop. It's just a hoop.
