We have made progress in the FFP field though. This may be what he is being measured on.

 

Its shit on the pitch but may be what we need off the pitch right now. Doesn't make it any easier to stomach though.

ive seen DF have good spells and bad spells so far - good spells coinciding with us getting players who we cant afford long term

if I was DF and had Palace in the play offs and thought I might take them up, I would stay and get a pay rise there, given my affinity with the club, IF Bolton's offer was to just cut the wage bill and keep them in the same league, as it's not very ambitious, and I am ambitious

but if like we all know the job was to get Bolton promoted, I'd probably think I had a better chance of going up and staying there with Bolton

I would probably have also written off any chance of promotion for the next 5~10 years, and hope that the "off field" activities start to help to get the club close to being self running/funding.

Think I've been reasonably consistent said he should have 10 games now I'm not so sure but after 10 we need results, what annoys me about Juke is we never bid for him yet we signed quite a few no marks on frees and I'd expect they got a nice lump signing on fee, I'd have preferred to not have Trotter, Feeney, dervite on frees if it meant bidding for jukewicz, also we got shut of sordell for 500k where did that money go? The fact of the matter is Freedman can't get any tune out of this squad and I'd bet money were in the top 8 in terms of salary, it's pathetic.
