Islamic State

Why are we not bombing the fuck out of this lot with the yanks? I can understand why the Commons voted against not to get involved with the Syria thing. But this is different. If anyone needs blasting to fuck it's these cunts.

Trouble is - once they're here it must be a nightmare to get rid of them. Especially when their country of origin doesn't even want them back!

And with good reason. Yon mon is on a UN banned list and surely a quick check would've found that before he got his first dole cheque. Off you pop sonny to your homeland.

I hate this, but we are better than other countries because we are more civilised malarkey. How is letting in the uncivilised civilised? It's mental.

50k a year..pah.

Wait till George drops it to 22k in a few weeks.

Take that you bumder.

Was he on that banned list before we let him in or was he put on it at a later date? If it's a first then whoever let him in wants putting away.

How can it be 50k? I thought it had already been capped at £26k?

Therein lies the answer as to why the so called "refugees" race across several EU countries to descend on Calais.

Oh it's him who told that female news reader to 'shut up' a few months back!

This.

I'll probably get accused of racism for this but it's about time we got our own fucking house in order before pandering to those from elsewhere.

Yes we are privileged to be born here, but we are just being dragged down by some immigrants who offer nothing to our society and can cause national security problems.

This.

We are privileged but let's remember it's not just the money fairy who keeps this country going. We also have a system the vast majority pay in to which ensures we can live how we do. It's a different subject to the asylum seekers but these here immigrants may be coming here to work but I don't think folk realise the impact on our social services whilst they do get on their feet. It has to stop.

This.

It isn't racist just inaccurate.

Firstly how many try to come to the UK? Out of the total population that are in Europe? It is a tiny fraction. It isn't like 90% make an immediate bee-line...

Secondly the UK is more attractive than many places because it is easier to get a job here without any papers or identification than it is in many other European countries.

Let's open the gates then

I'm sure the numbers trying to get here will stay constant once you've rolled out the red carpet

I'm as sympathetic as the next man but I don't want to pay anymore tax, it's killing me as it is so until we can bring it down let's keep the red carpet in storage

And the ones who want to work are all highly skilled and will be paying plenty tax as well as private education action for their kids and getting a mortgage.

So what do we do with Syrian refugees? There are vastly higher numbers in other EU countries, higher numbers of asylum applications too.

So do we say it is somebody else's problem to deal with? Ultimately they're all going to end up somewhere. I believe there are more asylum seekers in Sweden than in the UK. Sweden....

You didn't specify which country so now you've changed tact and mention Syrians. Any other countries you care to mention?

As a yoghurt knitter - I tend to err on the side of offering a helping hand to asylum seekers. On the other hand - numbers are such that we're fundamentally altering the fabric of the UK and that worries me.

I think we need to be much stricter on who we allow into the country - but UKIP are right in that we have very little control while we're in the EU and even if we did - we still wouldn't be able to control wider immigration as things stand at the moment. A points system seems to make a great deal of sense to me.

Well the point extends to refugees and asylum seekers in general. I'm not talking about internal EU migration as that is entirely different in nature to this.

We have a very low rate of asylum seekers. At last count I saw, it was 20 odd thousand. How on earth is that altering the fabric of the UK? (Even though that in itself is a meaningless statement).

So all refugees and asylum seekers even though they've travelled through numerous countries to get here?

Fuck all worries me, I've no kids and will very likely be dead within less than one to seventy years...
