December 17, 201411 yr Why do they keep pretending that they're 'risking everything' by setting up their own business? If they fail, they'll just walk back into their old jobs. There's no risk at all.

There's no risk at all. I doubt some of them will. Most employers won't want their staff to leave for 3 months, maybe longer, and then just take them back when they fuck up.
December 17, 201411 yr There's also a stigma attached after the process It has forced some to have to relocate abroad That's pretty risky ain't it
December 17, 201411 yr That smug Aussie prick said he could get another sales job for £100,000 tomorrow and he's probably right. They're not risking a single thing other than their dignity.
December 17, 201411 yr There's also a stigma attached after the process It has forced some to have to relocate abroad That's pretty risky ain't it Correct. Only a nob head would employ one of the contestants after the event...
December 17, 201411 yr Correct. Only a nob-rash would employ one of the contestants after the event... EFA
December 17, 201411 yr Correct. Only a nob head would employ one of the contestants after the event... Exactly!
December 17, 201411 yr I agree StevieB. The show highlights their inadequacies more than their strengths and it gives the candidates the opportunity to massage their over-inflated egos but the reality is they are nothing special. I bet there are a few posters on here that would do well on the next series, any takers?

I bet there are a few posters on here that would do well on the next series, any takers? Me! I'm fairly sure that the editors do their job and make everyone look a twat, good or not. Pretty sure if you filmed most of us for 12 weeks at work you could make even the best of us look like out of our depth.
December 17, 201411 yr Predicted tonights finalists correct. Roshens idea was always gonna be tough. Sugar doesn't mind saturated markets (look at Ricky) mark will win this.
December 17, 201411 yr Some nob rash of a recruitment agent would find them jobs tomorrow. These agencies have no morals or scruples.
December 18, 201411 yr There's also a stigma attached after the process It has forced some to have to relocate abroad That's pretty risky ain't it Lee McQueen who won the thing in 2008 was posted to one of Sugars small enterprises on Paragon Business Park in Horwich.

Sugar doesn't mind saturated markets (look at Ricky) mark will win this.Marks company would have to have a great proposition to stand out in the market other than fact he was on the apprentice, could smell the sales bullshit all the way when he was pitching himself and his idea, but that's because it's what I do I know nowt about tights but reckon biancas idea had legs (eh eh) and sugar def fancies it otherwise he wouldn't have been asking his wife about them, and bianca wouldn't have got this far either as she's not done much Her idea is more of a punt I reckon but if its a success reckon it would make far more money than mark Sugar was gutted when he got the feedback on roisin and her plan being shit, could see him thinking "wonder if she knows about making tights for darkies" Edited December 18, 201411 yr by ZicoKelly

He seems to go for the idea and not the person as otherwise Roisin would have won I think. And out of the two in terms of capability Mark is the clear winner. But his business plan doesn't scream originality nor does it seem that exciting.

His recruitment business is standard too, but he sells it well because (Like Mark) he's god at what he does, and is a minor celebrity. Mark's is the safe business.
December 18, 201411 yr I'd say it was different to recruitment though. I've worked in a company that does a lot of this and they are well supported. Basically he's in media sales. I think that lady has hit upon a good idea. This is mind of a straw poll of my missus and an office full of women, so I'm not speaking with any great authority on the subject! But, I'm going for her to win overall, so we'll see. Glad to see Daniel finally get potted, he's made wanted to smash the TV for weeks.
December 18, 201411 yr Bianca will win. They'll flog her tights in Bradys mates David Golds Ann Summers shops

Both industries are saturated and in both it's hard to find a genuine USP when you get past the blather. I agree about Bianca and certainly Daniel too. We have to stop this Crawley, folk will be confused
December 18, 201411 yr Bianca will win. They'll flog her tights in Bradys mates David Golds Ann Summers shops I very much doubt she's heading for that demographic based upon what I've heard so far
