We had four consecutive seasons averaging over 30,000 from '51 - '54, including our highest ever average attendance of just under 36,000 in 1952, which was pretty much the same as Utd's back then. Incidentally in 2004 we had our highest average attendance since 1959, so the support is out there, somewhere. Quote
