February 13, 201511 yr What's it like then? My mate is in the process of buying a house there (basically paying £100k more for the exact same house as mine). We're going checking out the nightlife tomorrow. I can't say I've ever been. Is it a bit upmarket?
February 13, 201511 yr More upmarket than Blackpool or Southport obviously. I prefer Lytham to St Annes cos theres some good pubs there and more in the way of a town centre, whereas there are only about 4 pubs in St Annes. Lots of "mature" folk there but they both have a nice relaxed feel.

February 13, 201511 yr It's bit like mentioning Bolton town centre when talking about Manchester city centre. Its a Completely different town and similarly worlds apart. Lytham is spot on BCG. Nightlife it pretty good...some cracking eateries and wine bar type gaffs. Plus a couple of nightclubs....your grey goose vodka and sparkly cocktail type places frequented by your wealthy types if you catch my drift! It's a lovely place. St Anne's is ok...it's just like a bigger Cleveleys.
