Don't often watch BBC 1,2 or 4 outside of sports coverage. but GMR, Cbeebies and no doubt CBBC in the future, BBC website are all part of life for me. Also massive fan of the coverage bbc radio gives the different music genres shows and DJ's like Lamaq, Mike Davies, John Peel etc formed a huge part of my musical loves

March 31, 201511 yr Opt in. I view bbc weather about 6 million times per day and like spider once I've read this place and posted a load of shite,I move on bbc news. Love Annie Mac on a Friday on R1 along with Danny Howard if get chance and 909 wanks all over talk sport on a Saturday afternoon. Telly wise I probably only watch the news at ten and eastenders. Just like they were when we were kids. But they have become an unaccountable monster. We have no say, can't really oust them while they make hay with our money, really making it difficult for competition. I agree that many large organisations are like that, but our BBC should be better and was better. Salaries, pensions, expenses all point to not just lack of cost control, but taking the piss.

In fact you don't have to pay even if you have a TV, as long as it's not connected to an ariel. You only have to pay if you watch live TV. You can watch BBC programmes on iPlayer without having to pay the licence fee.

I've said before they are just another unwieldy monolithic dinosaur, the rest are pretty much extinct. It's run by fucking idiots, Just look at the BBC Trust. It's entirely completely middle-class. Fucking endless cooking programmes yet not one that shows you how to cook anything useful. They should be, and need to be, much more than a posh ITV.

March 31, 201511 yr It's entirely completely middle-class. Fucking endless cooking programmes yet not one that shows you how to cook anything useful. TBF that probably goes for all the channels. Most of the recipes need a fortune in unusual cooking utensils, 2 hours prep or ingredients only available in central London.

Only started to annoy me as I've got older but I'm out.The left claim Dimbleby has been biased in favour of the Tories for a while now. Their chief politics correspondent or whatever Nick Robinson is, was a member of the Tories. People always think they are biased one way or another. Just life. Recently a study claimed the BBC had deliberately buried the stories about the NHS restructure and backdoor privatisation of it, favouring the Conservative plans. Perhaps they did.
