I hope it's better Dublin because that was overpriced shite! Cheers not been since 1985. back then you got "looked after" Few travelled but those that did got a great fuss made over them. As a 25 year old going over to give as a techical rep i had the time of my life. Even on a Monday night the hotel bar stayed open til 4am! All I can recall was the Guiness was good but the steaks were world beating. As a bloke Fri night was the best time to stay over and come back Sat. Sat night back then was the only night blokes took out their wives and Sunday was God botherers day. All this is useless to you but I like to reminisce. Edited April 11, 201511 yr by bgoefc

Loads of great bars and stuff...and the taxi tours around the falls and Shankill are a must. If your lucky your driver will be some ex terrorist who'll stop at places and describe how he chopped someone's hands off for stealing milk.

April 11, 201511 yr Belfast is amazing. Decent number for a taxi / tour guide if needed. Get over for ice hockey. Belting night out
April 11, 201511 yr Belfast is a brilliant place, didn't do the taxi but did a hop-on-hop bus that cost a fiver for two days. Took us around the Protestant and catholic neighbourhoods and we got to see the murals, Shankhil, Falls Road etc etc. The pubs are ace and the people really friendly, would go back there tomorrow

April 12, 201511 yr I went to Belfast watching England, City centre is well worth a visit but I remember it being very expensive especially for food, a curry was twice the price as over here. We were supping in a branch of a Scottish teams fan club, the name escapes me but was something like Queen of the South supporters club. It was a dump

April 12, 201511 yr Yes I agree with all the comments above great people good bars and great food you must try an ulster fry up a great cure for a hangover. Also do the Titanic exhibition if you have a few hours to kill.
April 12, 201511 yr I reckon I know Belfast better than I know Leigh. Full of proper mon's pubs, proper folk, good food, the lot. Best city in Britain.

April 12, 201511 yr Easy Jet fly from manc to Belfast. Went the other year just before Christmas and it was very good, some good pubs. Friendly people and the taxi tour was well worth it, think it was £30 for upto 4 people
April 12, 201511 yr Appn you're looking at Belfast City, that's where Flybe do. Make sure if you're on Skyscanner you select Belfast All. Can't believe there aren't dirt cheap flights from both Liverpool and Manchester.
April 12, 201511 yr Last time I was there I had to book a flight to Exeter from Belfast, it cost me £10 with Easyjet, look around the websites there are loads of good deals
April 13, 201511 yr Belfast City airports great it takes you as the name implies right into the centre of Belfast but if you go to the international airport which is quite a drive outside Belfast theres a shuttle bus into Belfast and it's usually cheaper to fly via Belfast international.
