July 2, 201511 yr I know a few Leicester fans, all of whom are affiliated to the blue side of Glasgow. They would oppose a move for Lennon in the same way some of our fans did. Forum opinion, however, means fuck all when it come to owning a football club and deciding who is the best man for the job. Lennon would be daft not to go if Leicester come for him. Religious intolerance from people who never set foot in a church. Always a good one. But yeah, if he gets asked he'll go. Don't understand the logic if he does. At least Coyle was doing alright in the Prem when we got him. Even if it was a smokescreen.
July 2, 201511 yr This is what this site is all about isn't it Anyhow If he stays or goes i couldn't give a fuck the club will survive and i will still be there on the 1st day of the season Yep. Lennon has achieved very little here so far. Can't get that worked up about it either way. I'd prefer him to stay but it isn't like when Arsenal came for Bruce. That was very sad, but Lennon is nowhere near that yet.
July 2, 201511 yr Heskey 2/1 in next Bolton manager markets. I'd be ready for a desperate appointment, but took me, that's from under the barrel, not just dredging the bottom.
July 2, 201511 yr Bruno-in! The actual Frank Bruno that is, with his diminutive alter-ego Frankie Dettori as his (imaginary) Number 2. Out of curiosity, why would Heskey automatically be shit? I'm not saying he wouldn't be but...
July 2, 201511 yr Garry Monk? Not for us, a player to manager example. For every Gary Monk, theres a Charlie Wright
July 2, 201511 yr For every Gary Monk, theres a Charlie WrightSurely Charlie Wright wasn't playing then. Wasn't it McDonaugh? Or the glorious Dennis Peacock/Terry Poole combo? Can't remember.... In any event, does anyone have any actual figures for the success or otherwise of promoting players directly? As compared to appointing from outside? Or even from internal coaches? Not that it matters much. Either Lennon goes or he doesn't. Whatever happens, Wanderers will continue their plodding, (hopefully) slow and managed, but inexorable creep downwards. Pubs are open, by the way.
July 2, 201511 yr the club will survive and i will still be there on the 1st day of the season To quote your good self - bang on
July 2, 201511 yr This is what this site is all about isn't it Anyhow If he stays or goes i couldn't give a fuck the club will survive and i will still be there on the 1st day of the season Exactly where I'm at, apart from the 1st game bit. Wolves (H) will be my first game!
July 2, 201511 yr Correct MR58, as I see it we have a good group of young talent this season so we're in a good position whoever may be in charge
July 2, 201511 yr Rumours are Lenny hasn't taken trainingUnfortunately that's true He was in Dubai earlier on a gap between flights to Bkk to meet the Leicester owners. Emirates flight apparently
July 2, 201511 yr If he's not taken training then that's it done and dusted Might nip down to Euxton to confirm
July 2, 201511 yr I've just seen him eating a massive bag of Walker's prawn cocktail and looking chuffed with himself.
July 2, 201511 yr I've just seen him eating a massive bag of Walker's prawn cocktail and looking chuffed with himself. Maybe he just hit jackpot and got a folded one?
July 2, 201511 yr Lennon, Parker and Heskey all came to training this morning in Leicester City tracksuits.....
July 2, 201511 yr Dont normally hang on what Alan Nixon says, but im clinging on to this anyway. Alan Nixon@reluctantnicko @jayeddyy There's been no approach for Lennie ... that's a fact ... and if other name right there won't be
July 2, 201511 yr These foreign big money owners don't come in and appoint someone from the Championship. And that is an ITK FACT.
