Read some of the Leicester fans comments and although some of them don't want Lennon (unproven fair enough) none of them wanted Allardyce. Seems wherever Sam goes he will never get the credit and respect he had from Bolton fans (apart from some on here of course). Don't know why it is, whether likes of West Ham, Newcastle, Blackburn or Leicester think they should be attracting bigger names or they have all been brainwashed into seeing him as a one dimensional hoof ball merchant? For me he would do or did a good job at all those clubs, really don't get the aversion at all

I agree, he could go to a club and win the league playing how Arsenal play......and he would still be called a hoof merchant, he's never going to shake that tag.

 

it'll be interesting to see exactly where he'll pitch up next. I'd love him to get over the Spain, Italy or Germany.......but I don't see that ever happening sadly

Mainly image. He was one of our own. But for example Curbishley did a very similar job at Charlton, would he have got your pulses racing if he'd ever got the Bolton job? Especially if he was keeping us just above relegation playing fairly negative football?
