  • I'll stick my neck on the line and say that Feeney has created more chances this season (and probably last) than Clough, Davies, Walker and Welli put together.   He's clearly the boo boy for quite a

Ooh I do fancy that

I think I'm in for this.

Ties in nicely with the northern soul event at the Printworks. (where is the Academy stadium...next to City's ground ? )

Yep. Across the road

What a mental set up this place is. Amazing what difference it makes when money is no object.

I can't get over it. Mental!

1-0 up at half time. Very decent game so far. Woolery and Thomas look lovely up front, Tom Walker is playing with a lot more drive than usual and Hayden White is occasionally threatening to look like a footballer.

We've won it - well done lads! Let's get Thomas and/or Woolery on the bench for the next game.

Great win, why so mental, is it that impressive or summert

Brilliant result for the u21s, good to see money can't buy everything.

For what is pretty much the flat dicks and reserves pitch they have a stadium of 8k capacity that most league 1 clubs would be lucky to have.

Well done young whites.

Anyone who went could say how we played, did anyone stand out?

Ace.....£3 well spent.

Played very well as a team, outplayed city in the 1st half & should have scored more, & even though it was more even in the 2nd half, they didn't look like equalising.

Nobody played badly, but standouts for me were Taylor (given m-o-m at ground ) & Finney  the centre halves, who both looked like adults playing against kids,

Walker, who looked a much better all round player in a central midfield role, & put some lovely corners in,

Woolery, whose pace scared them all night, though not always the greatest touch,

& m-o-m for me, was Hayden White in a defensive midfield position & played very similarily to Muamba breaking up the opposition's play.

I'd agree with that, I thought white did well.

I got in for nowt as my city mate (season ticket holder) gets in for free.

Woolery kept destroying his man for pace but could do little with it.

Our keeper did well with a bit of pressure towards the end but didn't have a great deal to do. Their keeper was a bit bobbins but again wasn't really tested.

Woolery would be worth chucking in for the odd 10 minute spell near the end of a game. His pace would scare defender shitless.

Aye, him or Heskey...

I thought our corners were decent too. Seemed to beat the first man. Could teach the first team a thing or two!

Interesting to hear White played centre mid I said a few weeks back that this position might be the best option for him to stand a chance of making it he really could be a midfielder enforcer if his football ability is good enough, his physicality and athleticism certainly are.
