passmosster Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Think one of the papers had a headline after the Arsenal 2-2 draw :- "Coyle foils Seaman". Almost beats:- "Queen in brawl at Palace" When Gerry Queen was sent of playing for Crystal Palace. Quote
Dunnoy'know Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Reading an article about Tom Walker and his aspirations to return to first team level.. Can't believe how many so called supporters have been claiming he is not good enough I've worked with the youth academy for a good while now and it's all about confidence with young Tom, he's very quiet but my god the lad is a superb prospect.. Pick of the bunch in fact a couple years back. Quite a way ahead of a certain zach clough Quote

Dunnoy'know Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Think he could be sent out on loan to gain some experience. What with the arrivals of Silva and Pisano, and with Clayton to come back Quote
Eddie Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 I'd have him in ahead of Feeney anytime! You mustn't have been at the Forest game then? Quote
Anderson Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Think he could be sent out on loan to gain some experience. What with the arrivals of Silva and Pisano, and with Clayton to come back It certainly doesn't help him being played on the right in my opinion, cutting in or having to go on his right doesn't work, far more useful on the left or through the middle plus he needs to get in the gym. darrener Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 You mustn't have been at the Forest game then?I was and he didn't have his best game, Feeney though is shite on a regular basis!! Quote
Eddie Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 I was and he didn't have his best game, Feeney though is shite on a regular basis!! I'll stick my neck on the line and say that Feeney has created more chances this season (and probably last) than Clough, Davies, Walker and Welli put together. He's clearly the boo boy for quite a lot of our fans, as he wasn't very good as a knackered wing back last season, but for me he's far more effective than he's given credit for. Quote

frank_spencer Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Me too but this debate goes round and round every few weeks. He led the team in assists last season and was one of our top scorers. Towards the end of the season he was clearly goosed but with Janko being bobbins and relegation to assure against he was used as often as possible Quote
tomski Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Another vote for team feeney. Works his bollocks off for the team and chips in with his fair share of goals and assists (admittedly not a difficult target these days) Quote
BOWTUN BAKED Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 He'll do for me too. Just wish he'd be played in his natural position on a more regular basis Quote
Dunnoy'know Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Liam Feeney is gash. Only people that have never kicked a ball and are therefore unable to acknowledge a proper footballer will disagree. I have not once seen him beat an opposing defender with skill, 90% of the time he tries to cross because he panics if he has the ball for longer than 5 seconds. Resulting in his 'crosses' hitting the first man. Not good enough for us Quote
jayjayoghani Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Oh aye, we've got a semi-pro here Quote

snowball Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Yes, you're right. We should be attracting Ronaldo & Messi shouldn't we Muppet. Because there is absolutely nothing between Liam Feeney at one end of the scale to Lionel Messi at the other is there? Even to a club as skint as us? Quote
