I need to get involved with NFL again, but need to choose a team. Was always a Dan Marino Miami Dolphins shirt wearing kid, but need some advice.

Which team is it worth following? Thinking about going down to Wembley to watch a game - anyone done it? Any help welcomed. Could just stick with the Dolphins and get tickets off Stub Hub for their game against New York Jets the day after the QPR game.

Which are the Liverpool/Man Utd of the NFL world to avoid?

Go Pack Go!

Rodgers will quit at the end of the season and you'll be plunged into mediocrity.

You couldn't be more wrong sir. Rodgers will never play anywhere else in the NFL and Titletown will regain it's ascendancy within three seasons.

You heard it hear first on WIXX 101.1 FM.

I'm not suggesting he'll play anywhere else.
He's bright enough and rich enough to realise the time is right to retire.

Doesn't want to end up like Eli killing his legacy playing on a team in rebuild mode.

Spot on.

Eli should have gone after the playoff loss to Green Bay in 2016. Quit whilst still at the top.

Redskins having to play Sanchez is the funniest thing I've seen all season.

Fair enough. I still reckon he believes he can get another ring to go with the earlier one but you could be right. If he didn't have one already I'd say you'd definitely be wrong.

:D

Had £10 on the Chiefs (late in the day @ 4/1) but them results last night Def helped

Just catching up with last weekends games. THAT touchdown from Miami at the end. Why more teams don’t play “rugby” is beyond me. Great as a surprise play

Beat me to it Manc. Other than being overjoyed at finally seeing an unshackled Aaron Rodgers do his thing and not be stunted by McCarthys negativity, my next highlight from last weekend was the Miami win. Superb drama.

Jeff Reinbold and Booky Brooks were on SSN yesterday and they were saying it's mainly due to the risks and that the players aren't as skilled at the techniques as rugby players

Sam Spodofora at the Bolton Braves always discouraged 'laterals'. One of the reasons was the shape of the ball which is different to a rugby ball and more difficult to catch/control/grip. Both prolate spheroids but the gridiron ball is more spherical in the middle and more pointed at the ends. At least that's what he told us anyway!

There's a reason you only see them try it when it's shit or bust at the end of the first half or the end of the game. The percentages are not good.

 Seconded.

I'm leaning towards the Vikings now

Cook finally turning up last night was b if for them

some weird results last night

the 49ers top of the pile

Can't see the Vikings winning 3 away games to get to a superbowl. Will beat cowboys if manage get them. Bears be 50/50 @ best. But then likely have to win at both rams and new Orleans. Wife open mind but the only side I thhbj with a hope from the wild cards is the unlucky runner up out of kc and la
