I need to get involved with NFL again, but need to choose a team. Was always a Dan Marino Miami Dolphins shirt wearing kid, but need some advice.

Which team is it worth following? Thinking about going down to Wembley to watch a game - anyone done it? Any help welcomed. Could just stick with the Dolphins and get tickets off Stub Hub for their game against New York Jets the day after the QPR game.

Which are the Liverpool/Man Utd of the NFL world to avoid?

...probably not as good as the roster of a lot of the other franchises...

I know the terminology is correct, but it doesn't half sound soulless / clinical when it's described that way. More like a business than a sport.

No denying Brady and Belichick have formed the most successful team of all time.

Doesn't mean we have to like the twats.

Just hope the cheating pricks get Rammed.

Is the Pro bowl ever worth watching?

Looks like a pointless kick about to me

It's an exhibition game, but often quite entertaining

It's like a testamonial but like Traf says it can be worth a watch

Have to be honest as a lover of the sport - I gave up watching Pro Bowls years ago. Boring quasi training session.

Agreed it is pointless really unless you are an insomniac then it’s something to watch

anyone stopping up for the big dance?

i've booked monday off

Yep, I'll be watching.

About 20 of us.

GPO

Hope so

Yep. Working from home on Monday :D

I work from home everyday, but on Monday, I'll be "working" from the Holiday Inn in Bolton.

Due to the time difference, I watch the later version with no ad breaks apart from at half time (unless the Packers are in it of course). Some fucker invariably spoils it for me by telling me the result.

At least the SB is at a civilised time in Oz

What time would it be on there mate? Midnight (ish)?

just looking for a few bets

last year i had both teams to score points in every 1/4 which was 16/1 (possibly a boost)

only 4/1 this year ffs

Hoping the Rams get a shutout! Can't see it though.

KO is set for 11pm, I think

11:30pm

I'm recording it. Last time I tried watching it after a gig I fell asleep.

So just incase I've set the sky box up

Here we go!!!

Fucking fuming that I've got to be in Brum tomorrow at 11am after I thought that it was a "working from home day" so will prob only watch til midnight and record the rest

Rams, Please

I fell out of love with this sport when I realised how fucking boring if is.

No more late nights for Undies.

Mexican Hot Pizza, 7 Franks Hot Wings and a case of bud

Let's go

Given it a go.

People actually enjoy this shit? It's all adverts and 'action' replays. Pure AIDS.
