As experienced and as good as they can be I'd agree, with the players we have available now we genuinely don't need them particularly, at this point they're just very expensive squad players.

Well it's arguable that even if he stays fit the other 3 CBs we have offer a bit more and are currently in decent form. For a 3rd/4th choice CB his wages are a luxury we don't really need.

 

I like Wheats and before our summer business would have had him as an integral player if fit but now with the depth we have I'd be happy with Finney/Taylor as our 4th choice.

That's true, it does lack a leader type without one of Dervite or Wheats playing, still think he's an expensive commodity for a back up experienced CB. Especially when we could do with the wages going elsewhere.

A fit Wheater is better than Dervite in my opinion but no doubt Dervite is on a 1/4 of what Wheater is so would be good to get rid of Wheater and use that wage elsewhere (preferably on a striker)
