What/Who's the link between LOV and ST?

Jonny Eckersley

He left the Trust six months ago

Him and the LOV mob are all cunts

Absolute scum

Is there a link or not? Does anyone know or is it just a ST bashing exercise to suggest there is a link?

Bashing! Their reputation is in tatters, it's impossible to bash them any further.

Serious question, does anybody take the ST seriously anymore, or is it a busted flush now?

The argument is that they will be the first legal entity to pick up the pieces should it all go tits up in the future.

Does that mean they get first dibs, even if they aren't the most suitable people to take it on?  -  For instance, if the current regime doesn't work out, and we go into administration, does the ST get the first chance to pick up the pieces, even if Bill Gates, or one of the new Horwich Fracking Billionaires want to come in?

Also, if the ST has no backing (supporter or financial), what good would there be in them actually picking up the pieces anyway?

I ask these questions, as I'm not sure I've seen or heard anybody have a good word about the ST for several weeks now

I'm not too sure. However I imagine MK will be able to provide you with the right answer.

The ST would be the fallback postion if everything else failed .Regardless of the antipathy towards them they may (hopefully not!) be needed to keep the ship afloat .Not overly impressed so far but will stay in at least until things are less uncertain.

As for LOV they are a bunch of attention seekers.

This is correct if there was no viable buyer for the club legally the ST has to be offered the club. The ST needs to continue as an insurance policy should the worst ever happen the frameworks in place so the trust could just bumble along in the background and I'm happy to pay £10 or year for peace of mind.

I'm baffled as to what peace of mind this bunch offer. Should this situation arise, are we to believe they'd be capable of running the club, and ensure it's survival?

Always seemed amateurish from the off.

Which is no surprise as that is exactly what they are. I'm hoping they never get their hands on the club.

If they do then that's as good as us accepting we're a lower league club for the rest of our days.

The alternative if the worst happened is the club would close down you might prefer that I don't.

I'd prefer someone capable of running a club coming in, personally. As your ST lot get first dibs then that may not happen.

No link.

Someone with money to buy club and pay debts gets first dibs. The ST only get the first dibs in admin if no one else comes forward the administrators then have to legally offer the club to a ST first rather than just closing the club down. It really is a last resort safety net I can't understand why folk are against that.

No link.

If that's the case can folk just shut the fuck up with these tenuous non links.

No link.

aren't you part of LOV & ST?

I'm a member of the both but definitely do not have anything to do with the Trust other than being a paid-up member.

If you're a member of LOV....can you explain why they talk so much shit and seem to want to report negative shit all the time?

If you're a member of LOV you are a fuck-knuckle

So Jonny Eckersley who was one of founders of the Trust and is close friends with several of the main people behind it and is also a major contributor to the drivel put out by LoV doesn't constitute being a link?

It's all right Kane 57 aka Manning saying that Eckersley isn't currently part of the Trust set-up, but he certainly is in and around those that are.

He was kicked out - there's no connection other than a few of the people being ST members. Doesn't mean we're in partnership or anything that nefarious.

Everyone talks shit. I guess the negativity is reflective of the times in which we live.

There's a bit going online tomorrow about a change of tone anyway. Might be of interest, might not.
