Eddie has had some abuse these past few weeks, a lot of it unwarranted by idiots.

  • So a bloke who gave us £150million is asking that his contribution be remembered by naming a room after him. Not a stand or the entire stadium. A room.   He's also asking that instead of getting his

They are only the preferred bidder as a last resort if the current owner can't sell the club or even give it away for nothing it really is just a safety net in the event that there is no alternative and the club would otherwise cease to exist.

So not preferred bidder then?

Preferred bidders maybe, but still have to pass due diligence with Football League etc.

Last time we were like a ghost ship waiting to bang into something. Next time (hope there isn't one), at least there'll be some crew on board, Don't know any of them, but they have the club at heart.

We don't know that, I think all we do know is ED had some ridiculous demands and no one else was willing to entertain him.

Only preferred bidder when in administration from my understanding.

Speaking of owners- twenty years ago yesterday we played Chelsea and later we lost a lifelong fan and they lost Matthew Harding in that helicopter crash.

Kinell I feel old.

Was this the same year we walloped Spurs 7-1 (nowt wrong with disallowed goal). I was in Burnden Paddock that night, someone went mad at because I applauded Gullit onto the pitch. Wouldn't bet against it being someone from on here

Sure was, both games were in the League Cup, think Spurs was the round after Chelsea.

Gullit was superb in the league game the year before.

Last summer I went to his old estate and mansion guest of the new owner 200 acres, private driving range, massive fishing lodge, must have cost a fortune.

Any chance you can put a word in- nice to try a new fishery.

It's long way in between Peterborough and Leicester.

Supporters trust have just sent an email out. Looks like they're putting on some fanzone type thing in Bolton Arena on a three game trial.

Good idea now fanzone is shut.

Anyone know why they shut fanzone with it being reviewed in the new year?

Pantomime I think.

The irony.

no body will go.

the fans that went into fanzine, went because it was convenient.

those who go across the road, will go in the pub.

Booked up for other things trying to generate more income I guess. Off top of my head theres been private functions, the two music concerts and a beer festival. Doesn't bother me at all made the hotel a bit busier but thankfully the sort that let their little pissants run riot haven't ventured in. They can now go to Bolton One and run free.

I think 'article' might be overstating it a bit.

Not that it means owt but is that the first time other than on here it's been suggested KA and DH have fallen out?
