January 30, 20179 yr It seems Uncle Ken has inherited a shambles of an organisation. Also what the heck Deano signed up to god only knows. From what i see they have been pretty transparent in the face of of some unfair and unrealistic questioning by some absolute fruit loops who say they back our club. It sounds like we have some more struggles to come but I really hope he sorts it and i back him 100%. Oh and that Susan Urqhart on twitter is a complete mentalist. She's fucking insane. Why can't people understand that this mess wasn't created by the current regime? She's on about long standing contractors being treated badly? It was the regime that set up those unsustainable contracts that are to blame. I just can't get my head round that supposedly educated people can't work even the most basic stuff out regarding all this. It really isn't rocket science.
January 30, 20179 yr Heathcote Statement http://www.burndenaces.co.uk/2017/01/30/heathcote-issues-statement-on-bolton-winding-up-petition.html Seems fair enough that Heathcotes wants what is due However, in situations like those we find ourselves in, there generally has to be a compromise If he pushed for a winding up order, chances are he'll get a shilling or two
January 30, 20179 yr Author Credit to Ken on the communication genuinely impressive two things: Deano and blu marble smells like serious trouble to me buckle up for a long game or brinkmanship all I can say is we went v v v close to the wire last year if Deano signed up to any owd shite for £5m and Ken didn't have chance to thoroughly understand pre deal Second I do hope the unpleasant decisions don't affect too many suppliers adversely it's not their fault we're in trouble and could affect honest local small businesses
January 31, 20179 yr So basically the club has a load of contracts they can not afford we knew that was case on playing side. No surprise same on non playing side. KA needs to sort them out before making any rash promises on the future. He acknowledges there are others but only commenting on ones that others have made public. The whole point of such negotiations is that they are conducted in private which is why the ST moaning like fuck at anyone simply does not help. You are dealing with other people's livelihoods not just at the club but at the suppliers too. He has answered why no accounts have been submitted the auditors can not sign off a deceleration of future sustainability with a dubious loan hanging over the business. It really is a very good update. Makes Councilor Morris take some action as well hopefully.
January 31, 20179 yr See I don't get folk getting their knickers in a twist about these contractors. We don't know any of the details. They could have been bleeding the club dry in the same way mercenaries like mavies and a long list of other players did. Everyone knows how it works when working for a business that were as big as Bolton were. Prices go up 20% before you've picked up a screwdriver or egg spatula. It's all not very pretty but the writing was on the wall soon as we were in the high court. Goes back to people thinking the new owners are multi billionaires and could or should have solved this in an instance. Truth is they were the only ones ready to take on the task of sorting this mess out. Edited January 31, 20179 yr by gonzo

The mess the club is in might not be the current owners fault but still shit for companies not getting paid and knock on effect to their staff.
January 31, 20179 yr This whole Blu Marble loan sounds a right dogs dinner - I dread to think what Holdsworth has gotten himself/us into there
January 31, 20179 yr To be fair a number of local companies with staff from the area not getting paid is pretty shit. The mess the club is in might not be the current owners fault but still shit for companies not getting paid and knock on effect to their staff. I agree it's shit. But the owners won't be taking decisions to stall payments lightly. Can't imagine the andersons are swimming in pools of gold coins like ducktails laughing their head head off at Dave the plumber not being paid for fixing a tap. It's just business and goes with the territory when you engage in contracts with a football club. Especially ones that are losing £800k a month and facing winding up orders in the high court. It's shit for everyone concerned but it's a on going problem. Batten down the hatches time and hope those in charge can sort it.

I can see the Asons brigade loving that
January 31, 20179 yr So a business choosing to pay Spearing 10 grand a week should get a bail out from the council? I can see the Asons brigade loving that He's not Ken Khan though ;-)
January 31, 20179 yr So a business choosing to pay Spearing 10 grand a week should get a bail out from the council? I can see the Asons brigade loving that Isn't spearing on more like 20 grand a week,
January 31, 20179 yr So a business choosing to pay Spearing 10 grand a week should get a bail out from the council? I can see the Asons brigade loving that Wasnt Kens argument that we were being rated as a PL club - he isny afrer a bail out - he just wants to pay the correct rates
January 31, 20179 yr . Can't imagine the andersons are swimming in pools of gold coins I'd like to think KA is just like Cyril Sneer
January 31, 20179 yr So a business choosing to pay Spearing 10 grand a week should get a bail out from the council? I can see the Asons brigade loving that The point is the rates are higher than other councils. We are looking to address over payments to all third parties as soon as possible. Spearing contract will also be reviewed.
January 31, 20179 yr Daily Mail reporting we have not paid our players on time again this month, bad news if true especially as its transfer deadline day.
January 31, 20179 yr FFS do we have to go through this every month have the papers got fuck all else better to do but keep churning this out, I'm bored shitless with it
January 31, 20179 yr A note from the chairman regarding Heathcote http://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/a-note-from-the-chairman-3547001.aspx
January 31, 20179 yr if the club arent getting paid, would we as fans be supporting the club by not using heathcotes outlets, be them pure bar or under the stands just a question
January 31, 20179 yr A note from the chairman regarding Heathcote http://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/a-note-from-the-chairman-3547001.aspx That doesn't sound great does it What I don't get, is that in the above article, and the article that Heathcote released, they both mention how he is been a supporter of BWFC for many years......so what, what has that got to do with anything at all. This is a business issue, and it should make little or no difference if he's a lifelong supporter or not.
January 31, 20179 yr I noticed some rustybullethole or something crank, which is probably the same mentalist.
