January 23, 20179 yr Does failure on Anderson's part automatically elevate the ST to hero status? No it does not. Why you ask?
January 23, 20179 yr They undermined the owners as soon as they went to the EFL like a school kid telling tales. Any issues regarding wages being paid about 3 hours late or restructuring of finance have been fully explained in Q&A's, statements from the chairman and lee andersons twitter feed. Going to the EFL was simply not their business. They were set up to keep a clear relation between the club and fans. Not play private eye and seek personal answers from a governing body. Nobody gave them the right to represent our fan base and demand answers that have already been given. They overstepped the mark massively. They had the chance to ask the chairman their questions directly st the Q&A yet they declined to do so and went behind the clubs back as if he was lying through his teeth. What tales have the ST told? The EPL are well aware of all that's is going on at the club the ST have asked questions for purpose of clarity and to relay this back to the fans. The ST is biggest group of BWFC fans whether you like that or not and as such have conducted and consulted with members. Nothing the ST have done has undermined our position as a club as far as I can see the embargo can only be lifted if KA sorts his shit out.
January 23, 20179 yr No it does not. Why you ask?Because you seemed to be suggesting that being pissed off with both parties would be pathetic.
January 23, 20179 yr Whichever side of the fence you sit on its clear that the ST as it stands now is not fit for purpose, in approaching the EFL in such a way it has created a situation whereupon it will be treated with suspicion & mistrust by the club.
January 23, 20179 yr I propose a Trust Of Wanderers Society, no nobheads, Masons, shitstirrers or golfers allowed, membership is a quid and this includes a framed photo of Sweaty Ken.

That's possible but a ST who do not challenge the club/owner in my opinion is one that's not fit for purpose.
January 23, 20179 yr That's possible but a ST who do not challenge the club/owner in my opinion is one that's not fit for purpose. Agreed, but I feel their actions in this mater were misguided at best, that's just my personal opinion of course but it certainly makes me regard them with suspicion.
January 23, 20179 yr As was mentioned earlier the information revealed by the EFL was apparently publicly available, but the bn missed the opportunity to clarify things. According to the bn article ( last week I think) the club had initially denied that we had squad restrictions. Don't know what the truth of all this is but I can't see what harm the clarification from the EFL did. Perhaps I'm being thick. But as said previously ken is an experienced business man and I'm sure he can manage to attentions of the st. I'm sure in the coming years we'll have our eyes opened by stuff that leaks out; from previous and current incumbents. Not convinced entirely buy any of the current parties: but will reserve judgement until things are sorted and become clearer.
January 23, 20179 yr I'm sure there are parties on both sides who's motives are not altruistic. Let's hope not.And if there is whichever side they come from the sooner they are outed the better. Edited January 23, 20179 yr by Mounts Kipper

They failed to get enough for their own committee. Who are they I do not know. We are a club a group of people with one shared interest. We have seen how the club pulls together when it matters, you have even seen Chris Manning get praised on here recently for one particular cause, where are the ST on that ? I am sorry mate but you have them on a level they have not earned, I do not know anyone involved in the ST. They are different group than those who ran the club for years but they are equally anonymous. Daresay they have decent intentions but their execution is just awful.

I agree some of their correspondence been terrible I've said that on here, and it's a shame more folk did not want to join the board but that's not their fault and they still have a long way to go to get the full trust of many fans myself included, but if fans don't get involved they'll never know who they are or what they are really all about. We need a trust and it's right and proper they ask questions of the club and request answers from the EPL this in my opinion hasn't undermined our postion as they know what's going on better than anyone. I'll talk about KA now I'm relatively happy with what he has achieved upto present but I have some reservations about the ongoing financial situation and the failure to lodge the accounts and late wage payments, both KA and the trust are far from perfect and I'm happy for now that both are under scrutiny from each other.

Agreed. Just tried their website to see board members but it didn't seem to work properly
January 23, 20179 yr Shows what a fcuking shambles they are As for folk not putting up for the committee, I believe they alienated many prospective members when they decided to blatantly overlook them for roles on the steering group As for membership, I suspect it's much closer to 1000 than the 6k they claim

On what basis is the ST more representative or have the right to claim to represent supporters than the supporters club or any of the various forums ? They are a seemingly small number of fans that are pursuing a course of action that they feel is right, but that is all they are, they do not represent anyone else.

On the basis that If it's 1000 fans that's the biggest group of fans to be consulted, I'm sure the figures of members was claimed as 3-4000, other groups could also could consult their members should they wish and again it's not the ST fault no other group of fans have bothered. January 23, 20179 yr Except Jules Darby (re:golfers) - he can joinIt's been that long since I swung a club I'm not sure I can be put in that category these days. Nonthess your willing to make an exception is gratefully received. May your whoopsy aisle hunting prove fruitful And the ST can fuck the fuck off
January 23, 20179 yr Re members, the email I got said 2600 paid up members and 4000 affiliates (whatever that means). They should show some bollocks and see how many people would stump up another tenner.
January 23, 20179 yr If we're going down the route of having some sort of fan representation then there should be a trust/club/body/whatever the feck you'd like to call it that is made up of the season ticket holders. Be miles more representative and full of folk who spunk up the cash season in season out.

Agree with this, would think most of the ST season ticket holders anyhow and if you don't engage you end up without a voice.
January 23, 20179 yr As for membership, I suspect it's much closer to 1000 than the 6k they claim WW's membership is nearer 6k than 1000.
January 23, 20179 yr How do you know that? Count the members list. 186 pages x 20 plus a further 7 on the final page.
January 23, 20179 yr Agree with this, would think most of the ST season ticket holders anyhow and if you don't engage you end up without a voice. Right so that's the route we should be going down, not this self serving cabal that it looks like we've got at the moment If you're a season ticket holder you automatically become a member. Anybody else who'd like a say can spunk up their tenner or whatever if they feel so inclined. Club has all contact details, anything that needs a vote/ballot should be a piece of piss to organise. Season ticket holders can then engage or not depending on whether they can be arsed.
