I emailed the ST about 6 months ago and i'm yet to receieve a reply. Do they have that many un-read emails that they are waiting to reply to?

If they do, then maybe they need more people on board to help them?

This is where you are completely misguided the trust have asked the EFL to clarify where the club is in relation to financials, embargo etc on your mind that = unhappy with KA It means nothing of the sort your putting 2+2 together and coming up with 5.

It's common knowledge what's happening

I repeat, 6000 members = 2600 actual members and 4000 affilliates (whatever that Means). Their site has no option to join as an affiliate.

Affiliates (majority) are the 4000 who pledged a £10, then didn't pay...

Probably sat and waited to see how it played out, realised the group are a (albeit very loyal) set of conceited loons..

My take on the numbers? 2600 who tipped up the £10 (or more), the other 4000 being those who expressed an interest but didn't tip up for whatever reason...

Unless they clarify the membership those in the potential 4000 who have no further interest in the trust (or have no interest at present) can't really resign their 'affiliate' membership.

It's a bit disingenuous if this is the case, if they won't clarify the membership then it's more than a bit [disingenuous]

Have you got me on 'ignore'? :(

I like your thinking, it's not just me then. :)

You've alienated yourself and so have many others on here who share the same opinion as you if you don't get involved and don't get your voice heard then when the trust consult with fans they can't relay your message to the club. No organisation which has 6000 members can all agree on everything but part of your message would resonate if you engaged. So it's no suprise when posters on here say the trust don't speak for me well how the fuck can they when you've not spoken to them.

Sorry mate that is bollocks. When it was first set up I said I did not understand what the ST offered but was happy to see how it went.

They maybe well intentioned but if you stand on a platform that criticises the club for not being transparent and open you need to make sure you do not become just as bad. Pretty ironic that you to defend this lot are chucking bricks at other supporters.

The ST claim to represent the fans but only those that have been to their meetings ? Or engaged with them ? WTF !! Norwich mentions they have not replied to Emails, love to hear your excuse for that ?

You say I should engage with them but another poster on this thread meantions website does not work so well.

They have fallen into the trap of believing because they originally tapped into some genuine worries amongst fans that they are now the voice of the people fighting injustice and corruption. Within every thing they issue ( and I do read stuff they send out so I am trying to engage) there is implied criticism of KA

There are ways to go about what they want to achieve. They should be engaging with the fans and the club, but instead they are on some moral crusade that is clearly alienating people but let's ignore that and blame everyone else.

Spot on.

On the night of the Q&A the trust didn't send one single tweet out.

The bolton forums, blogs and news sites were on fire that night. Live periscope feeds, live blogs and reports from people all over the Internet. Finally we had a chairman facing questions from the fans. The trust however didn't engage. They didn't ask one question and they didn't send out on single tweet on that night.

If they were representing the fans, they should've been at the front that night grilling the chairman and reporting every bit of info possible.

Yet they declined to get involved. Instead trying to organise a private meeting behind closed doors. With no 'normal' fans present.

The chairman has repeatedly released statements answering questions. None have been reported on the ST's twitter feed or website.

It's a closed shop mounts. They chose not to represent the fans the moment they ignored the fans and requested their own meetings and I'd love to see if they asked their members if they should follow through with going to a 3rd party to seek answers from the club that had already been given.

The ST have given the fans the opportunity to voice their opinion that fans have not taken that opportunity then complained that they don't like the direction it's going beggars belief, why not get a group of like minded fans off here to join and campaign from within to get over your view point. The alternative is to bleat on here and achieve nothing.

Just going round in circles now. Bit like the in out thread. We'll know a lot more on both issues in three or four months.

I also contacted them with offers of assistance which I Know would have been very useful to them and saved them a few quid too. NO REPLY.

Funny thing is, with the way things have panned out they will probably need me anyway......and pay. Oh dear, Own goal

The proof really is in the amount of people for and against them here right now. Its a landslide. They have lost our support.

Someone will be along soon to point out it's just the moaners on here.

And Twitter...

Its clear that the people running the ST's have lost the support of a large portion of our support base

We just need to differentiate that its the support for the people running it that has been lost, not the idea of a supporters trust

Things could get financially ugly at any point and we may well need a ST so better to overthrow those individuals rather than completely disregard a ST that we may well need

I'm of the opinion that now the ST has been set up as a legal entity then it should be parked until such a time as it's actually needed.

Think it needs evolution not revolution fans not happy have to tackle the problems from within not by bleating on here about it, the trust is set up for the fans to influence not only the club but the way the trust behaves and acts.

I would of even been happy with a polite "fuck off"

You cant trust a kitchen salesman who says he isnt going up for the board and then does

Surely it would make more sense to get the running of it right with the correct people in charge and then park it until it is potentially required?

Lets say its parked now and then 6, 12, 18 months down the line the shit hits the fan and things need to move quickly. All that will happen is the ST comes in but doesn't have the support of a large portion of the fans rendering it useless

A ST is a good thing and we may well need one, if between the whole supporter base we cant cobble together the right people to run it (properly) then its not great and its unlikely that we would be able to save the club should the worst happen like it did to Pompey

Like I have said, I'm not sure who the right people might be, I've neither signed up or gone to a meeting to put my 2 penneth in. I'd like to think that there are a few on here that would add value to the running of the ST

I just dont believe nobody showed an interest. People probably did. They just didnt reply to the email .

that's where I'm at

they have come across as petulant

am happy with the statements from KA to date and it sounds like they are getting on with things

but I'm also quite happy for someone to be on KAs back whether KA likes it or not, to make sure all is above board and being done proper or as well as can be, but there's ways of doing that, and doesn't seem they've chosen the best way

I doubt there would ever be a trust in place where every fan felt they were being represented, I doubt I would feel represented if there was a dialogue between this forum and KA, as I disagree with most of the twats on here most of the time, it's impossible to represent everybody

and just because LA replies to fans on twitter and acts like one of us and says that the Nixon article is wrong (and I presume it is, because it's Nixon), doesn't mean I trust things are going well behind the scenes

In the main I agree with ZK, except I am not sure there is a best way of checking that all is above board you cannot just blindly accept KA at his word and the only way to cross check was to ask the EFL.

Aye

PG and ED could've given us updates just as positive as KA whilst the shit that was going down behind the scenes, was going down

We've been starved of communication that long we seem happy just to have some

Which is fine but I'll remain sceptical and be happy someone remains on their case

Where do you think the EFL get their info from??

WRT the ST; I really don't give a shit

Where do you think the EFL get their info from??

Financial info from clubs accountants, legal documents such as bank statements and loan details from blue marble, KA has to disclose and allow access to all areas to the EPL whereas he can tell the ST as little or as much as he wishes. The ST did the right thing in approaching the EFL failure to do that would have been a lack of care and attention on their behalf.

after their meeting, im non the wiser about all that

ill bet they are too, cos its got fcuk all to do with them

key facts as i see it

we're losing about a million a month, yet we all whooped with joy when we loaned 5 new players

You reckon the EFL disclosed any of that to the ST?

I think your getting the ST confused with the fancy bears mate.
