Fitted Wardrobe Covering

Featured Replies

Anyone know what to do with a fitted wardrobe where the covering is coming away?

Tried supergluing it back on but it's not ideal

Called Hammonds, who apparently made them, and they didn't want to know - didn't even try to sell me new wardrobes - useless cunts.

So do I basically need new wardrobes or does any company re cover them? I can't really find pet on them interweb and this sort of stuff is not my bag at all.

FWIW I've tried rubbing them with a bloon, glassing them, and I've thrown them down the stairs but to no avail

Have violent sex against them

Damn

Knew I'd forgotten summat

I very much doubt you'll be able to stick it back.  You could get new doors I suppose.  Ring a few companies that specialise in bedrooms, as some might have a laminating machine.

Evo stick will stick it pretty well.

Get LW round with his bird so she can shit in them and then he can wipe her arse with your Maudes knickers and you won't give a fuck about the wardrobes

first plan of action

you need to liven up the adhesive

a hair dryer might get it warm enough or try a damp cloth and iron it

jules, are they flat panels?

All flat on the wardrobe doors yep

There's the odd little tear too; hence thinking of trying to get it recovered? It'd need the whole thing doing though not just the doors but I can't find a company that does it

Would no doubt cost more than new and not look as good overall

And the added bonus of using this, is when you've finished bodging the job you can tip the rest of the tin into a carrier bag and have a good sniffing sesh...Your wardrobes will look magic when you're glue'ed up.

Thanks pal

he fitted my wardrobes too. Good lad.

Now your maud has you trapped in a world of middle aged beige and Saturday afternoon visits M&S, you'll have gallons of spare manjizz so I'd use that.

Replaced my wardrobe doors when we moved here 15 years ago with MDF with grooves cut in by local timber merchant and painted them white. Still look ok.

depends what your fitted carcases are made of though and what would,nt clash.
